I was thinking about that. It's like this every year. The months before E3 are always supposed to be quieter. Everything is going to be revealed at the Expo, that's what it is for. I don't see the reason for all this shitstorm. -
True. English is probably the most useful thing I've learned from videogames. Reflexes too probably. Oh, and I have the most awesome muscular fingers. Don't worry, Shino once wrote "alcatroated streets" instead of "paved streets" on an english test, though it doesn't have anything to do with videogames. But that was a long time ago.

My Wii has the exact same problem! Here's a video of the problem (not mine): It's still not as noticeable as that one but according to internet reports it will get worse and worse because of a screw that's too tight. I'm trying to send it as fast as possible because I want it back before the european smash bros gets released and before my summer holidays. Sometimes they take more than a month to send it back. It also has that black screen 30 second freeze while trying to access the saves in the Wii memory that plagued the first batch of Wii consoles so I'll get this chance to get rid of that too. To anyone sending their console: Don't forget to back up your saves and ask them to backup your console or they might not do it by default.

I cried one symbolic tear. Thank you. I love you too. I only got into Gurren Lagann at around episode 7 or 8, so yes, it gets better. But I won't compare Evangelion with Gurren because I love both. Each one has it's own way of being great.

I'm on episode 14 of Gurren Lagann and it's one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. The way they deal with the mood and music leaves me in catharsis every time they fight. Whatever comes ahead, which I know might be strange, can't take away what I awesomened already with this show.

Metroid Prime 3 is my pick. Very pretty graphics, perfect FPS controls and captivating development. Unless you want to focus in multiplayer, in which case Metroid Prime 3 is not even an option.

Haha!! Same here! I had to download it again and I thought it was a troll from the subbers or something. I downloaded a 16:9 good quality video but I was watching a 4:3 crappy and grainy completely non-sense video. When Calza said that about the 1st episode I completely ignored the Mikuru "episode". Now it makes sense if you didn't like it, Calza.

I feel ashamed that the only movie from Studio Ghibli that I saw was The Cat Returns. I liked it! Anyone here saw it? Also, I will start watching Gurren Lagann today I hope.

Well, to a beginner you should definitely start with some light stuff like Naruto or Bleach and the such. Haruhi is light too, so it's good. But I think you guys are insane in recommending Evangelion or Death Note to a beginner. As much as I love those 2 series, giving that to someone who almost never saw any anime is the same as giving F-Zero GX to my grandma in the very hard difficulty.

I have another one of those: Yeah I also miss the damn cats a lot of times. It's damn hard to see them. I've seen people say Rapidshare is slow, but it's the fastest site I have ever seen. It uses 100% of my internet bandwidth (15Mb/s) and it never drops down. I guess it depends on the ISP.

I can dodge the POW block everytime with just a small waggle. Took me some time to find it out though. But it's really easy after you know how to do it.

Curiously, the first 5 animes of that list are ones I already had interest/recommendation/in to watch list, but the last 6 I never even heard about them. Gurren Laggan and Lucky Star are the ones I'm going to watch next it seems.

I liked Azumanga Daioh. Will I like Lucky Star? Slow paced stuff is fine with me. I remember watching a 5 minute sequence in Azumanga where they did nothing but run in the sunset and show off their random happiness. It was fine.

Now we have to wait ages for the next one. There's not even a theater release date, let alone the DVD. I've watched it in chronological order but after the first 6 episodes I felt it should have more charm if watched in broadcast order. There's more mystery in the broadcast order, but you also need to pay closer attention to understand what's going on and what links to what/when.
