  1. You can create your own appartment? I hope I can recreate a victorian terrace groundfloor flat. I hate modern architecture.
  2. Oops sorry. I looked but couldn't find any other threads about it.
  3. http://uk.movies.ign.com/dor/articles/863515/legend-of-zelda-movie-trailer/videos/legendofzelda_filmtrailer_040108.html Released 01st April... but my god, they've gone pretty far for an april fools joke... unless...? Check out the IGN logo on the credits bit at the end. I'm 99% sure this is fake, but it's too well done for an April Fools! Looks completely dire if this is real! hah
  4. Awesome
  5. So they definately don't matter as much as gameplay, but which game would you say has achieved the best graphics so far? I really can't decide, but I suppose Gran Turismo 5 has the best i've seen so far.
  6. Is Jeanne d'Arc ever coming out in the UK?
  7. For just 4 maps!? Completely not worth it! I'm shocked!
  8. Cheese, mayonaise, spinach and spring onions or olives, humous, spring onion, spinach Mmm ... most of my sandwiches contain spring onion and spinach...
  9. I really am the only one who sees them as equals eh? Hmm..
  10. How much is 800 MS points in pounds? I'm a PS3 COD player see.
  11. As in game.co.uk? Are they good online or something? Surely play and amazon are better no?
  12. Urm... oops... sorry... urr... no I can't get myself out of this one. Please don't kill me her boyfriend.
  13. Hmm... yeah, after reading the QI book on animals I was convinced that animals are actually just computers. Is intelligence not a good way of measuring animals' ability to feel?
  14. I love both pretty much equally. I plan to own hundreds of each when I leave Uni and can provide them with a stable environment. Unfortunately, I've never owned either because my sister's allergic. My favourite dogs are Italian Greyhounds - Small versions of greyhounds and my favourite cats are Singapuras, but any moggy will do. Getting them from rescue shelters is totally the way foward. Post pictures of your dogs and cats too!
  15. That doesn't sound very fun. None of that here please She sounds like a right ****.
  16. What happened last time? Assuming people started being rude to each other, I stated at the beggining to be respectful I'm interested, is that your opinoin or the mainstream scientific view? I've always thought bacteria and plants feel nothing see. I assumed having a brain is what made organisms concious of pain and emotion.
  17. You really must explain that!
  18. Well, I assume (and I'm pretty sure I'm right, but I suppose I haven't seen evidence) that animals feel similarly to humans in relation to being encaged (i.e. farming when not done nicely), being killed, and being hurt physically. I assume bacteria and plants don't mind dying. If I'm wrong then I'll either have to stop eating, or consider not being vegetarian, but I seriously doubt animals like being killed.
  19. Good point. That is essentially what my opinions are based on. But there's nothing wrong with having circular arguements if you learn interesting things from the other peoples' camps along the way, right? For example, today I learnt that fox hunting isn't universally associated with the upper classes, and I (I belive very valuably), had you deconstruct my arguement to allow me to understand what I'm actually thinking subconciously. Although I suppose I knew it on a subconcious level, find it very very interesting that essentially all I'm saying is that I don't like killing. It's also just interesting to know what people think. I do agree though, if people are getting angry at each other then there isn't really much point on arguing about it, no one can really change others' opinions easily.
  20. Just started talking about vegetarianism on the fox hunting thread and I thought it deserved its place. Well I'm a vegetarian, it's awesome. I belive animals should be cuddled, not eaten. So, who else is vegetarian? Why? If anyone's interested, I'm vegetarian simply because I like animals so I don't want to eat them. I personally don't think a meat dish is worth what the animal has to go through to make it. Oh and p.s. let's be respectful of both carnivores and herbivores please. Oh and if anyone says, 'for every animal you don't eat I'm going to eat 10', it's not funny after the 50th time.
  21. No no, the logic behind it is you let all the cows that are alive right now live their lives happy untill they die of natural causes, then future generations don't have to be born to be eaten. Oh and cows are good for milk, obveously. Anyway cows wander cities in India and don't they live wild in the Scottish highlands? As a domesticated animal, people could still keep them as pets. Cows are awesome animals. And chickens live in erm... my auntie has pet chickens! Disclaimer- I don't hate meat eaters or anything and I'm not actually trying to force vegetarianism on anyone... PETA PETA PETA *ahem* Nor is playing computer games, but it's still fun and it works.
  22. VEGETARIANS WILL INHERIT THE EARTH! THE END OF CAPITALISM IS NIGH! ARRGHH!
  23. Well I hate it hugely, but I think it's also overblown. I don't much see the difference between eating meat, fox hunting, animal experimentation (on cosmetics, not life saving drugs), fishing, non-free range eggs, pheasant shooting, and pest control. I do agree that it's horrible to chase the fox instead of just shooting it, but I find that a bit silly. If someone chased you to try to rip you apart, would you care more about the trauma, or the fact that you don't get to be alive after that? Surely the most important part is the actual death of the animal, regardless of how it's done. Is the enjoyment of the hunt for the people worth the trauma for the fox? In my opinion, no, but what matters is that the poor thing dies. My opinions about the people who do it? Assuming they justify it as a form of pest control made fun, rather than being wankers who want fun at something else's expense, I see them in line with meat eaters, animal testers, and fishermen - I wish they'd stop doing it, but as they think they're doing an okay thing, it's not really my place to say anything. Oh and I say farmers should just put netting under the ground around chicken coops to stop the foxes getting underneath. p.s. I'm a vegetarian. All of you go veg too? please?
  24. Now that you simply have to elaborate on! (not liquid)
  25. And I have accepted it. Evil Russian man's son just shot himself! OMGZ! As someone who's hugely anti war, I find it quite disturbing how completely euphoric I find playing this game to be.
