This is just the BBFC hanging onto this 'fad' that videogames are bad for everyone in everyway possible. They link it to terrorism, murders even dangerous driving. They don't seem to understand that it's individual responsibility that drives people to crimes, with them everything must have a reason. It's the exact same way that alcoholics blame everything on alcohol, people blame minor health problems for inability to look for work. Everybody needs to blame something for life's imperfections and for violence it seems videogames recieve the blame. Some people are violent by nature, and thus some of them play violent videogames and then some more go on to commit violent crimes. But those same murderers have may have seen Saw, Hostel or any other grisly slasher movie. Why should games be held more acountable for the depravity in modern society moreso than any other medium? If Hitler had played a videogame they'd try to blame it for the holocaust.

AVP was done by the same guy who did resident evil...eeewwww! I thought AVP was quite shite to be honest, felt it was only for die hard fans of both series. in the meantime... Fantastic Four(original) After seeing many people talking about the second one being better than the first I decided to give the first a look. It's an alright film, nothing notable special. It acting is meh, bordering on sheer annoyance à la human torch. Contrasting most marvel movies it isn't about fighting any sort of super villian as such but learning to cope with their abilities which...is kinda boring when all you want them to do is kick the shit out of some bad guy. in conclusion, I give it a 4/10 hopefully the second one is as good as people say.

I find it hilarious that in some scenes cars completely block the road then the moment he jumps in a doge viper they are broken down on the pavemement leaving a clear path. Maybe he is god in this movie. On a side note, Will Smith is a hit or miss, he's been selling out quite a bit lately. This looks to be a bit different from the genereric action movies he does but who knows, producers suck, no doubt they'll be something to blow up.

I suppose it does have that unmistakable connection.

Windwaker doesn't have a massive sexed up snow wookie hell bent on making magical healing soup! The last battle in TP was pretty amazing. Windwaker does have points for the sheer fact you have a clue WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, unlike TP had that factor in large, confusing, quantities.

He is a good actor, but it's just that he seems to be hired recently only for his status and good looks. In most of his recent films he hasn't had to act but sit there and look pretty, it's a shame. Same with Tom Cruise, I mean Born on the 4th of July almost got him an oscar and he was pretty good in Collateral but most of the time he does things like The Last Samurai, although it's an alright film all it requires is a pretty actor who can say his lines right.

Its a sales term just to promote new consoles. Basically it's new no it's next gen. It will only be seen as current gen when new consoles are unvealed.

I have a really light Glasgow accent, so much so that many Glasweigians ask me where I'm from. It's a wierd mix, sounds slightly American. I put it down to an American speech therapist I had as a kid. Edit* anybody who confuses Scottish and Irish accents just hasn't heard one of them properly.

In the future everything is going to be hard drive based. Look at music industry. they moved unto Cd's quite aawhile before DVD's were avialable and now a large percentage of household music isn't actually physical. And with things like Sky anytime where downloading whole movies is available, the future seems more likely to me to be vast improvements in disk space.
