Wii released in PAL regions on the 7th and 8th December Respectively. It is now the 18th January 2007. Not even 50 days yet into release. The systems currently in the "experimentation" phase whereby developers are releasing these mediocre games as a basis for determining if the user base is sufficient. Why pump heaps of resources into an unproven format? It makes no business sense. Remember, Nintendo has a seriously damaged reputation when it comes to third party relations and this is Nintendos way of slowly healing the wounds if you like. Be thankful we're getting any games at all. Providing demand remains strong for Wii accross the board and people buy sufficient amount of these "experimentation games", quality will naturally follow. Be patient, it will be at least another 9 to 12 months or so before we start seeing a significant leap in game quality. If we don't see any such significant improvement by 2008, then there is legitimate cause for concern, for now though, its unfounded.

Game will feature 10 levels <-- hopefully they are about 2 hours in length at least to equate to a decent length of 20 hours gameplay or so in singleplayer main game, 5 of which are listed below -Sand Oasis -Dinosaur Jungle -Evil Foundry -Levitated Ruin -Pirate Storm Sonic now has customizable skills. It is said that there are somewhere around 100 skills that Sonic can learn <-- Good, but i'd like to see multiple skills having significant use in levels with others making things easier/more convenient, score greater points for being a dare devil etc. . Skills range from how Sonic handles, to his moves, to special abilities. Sonic holds 4 rings that allow for 500 points worth (each) of skills. Experience points are earned through the main game. One new move slows down time through a soul meter. This move is much like the speed up move we saw in various trailers, but with an opposite outcome. 40 multiplayer games <-- Screaming Banana Blitz to me, hopefully they are actually of decent quality this time round accross the board... Each level has 10 missions such as stealth attack, rampage, chain challenge, beat the clock, and more. <-- Compilation of mini games only moving from one to another?

I've found occasionally, it won't let me turn off the system, have to literally turn it off from the power??

Or resort to my solution that was posted in the "component looks better huh" thread where I suggested waiting for a few years for an ultra advanced computer to get decent graphics that wil make PS3 look like a N64 in comparison.

Just like if they were to remove Ridge Forrester from the Bold & The Beautiful, Victor Newman from the Young and The Restless and John Black from The Days of Our Lives. Retains viewers/fans, as does O'Neill.

Depends on what price the individual would put on the product. Personal vs actual value. For a SOLE Sony nut, N64 would be trash and be worth 0 in FIAT MONEY. For a Nintendo enthusiast, the unit could be of considerable value in FIAT MONEY terms, especially if its a limited edition version of the N64.

Does anyone else here tend to think music cds have too much bass in them and actually appear to sound of lower quality than compressed mp3 files where courtesy of an application equaliser, you can get sound to your liking?
