I thought it might be one of those guys

Clover Studio: "we are really interested in the Nintendo Revolution"
Wolf replied to Twilight's topic in Nintendo Gaming
A little less conversation, a little more action. I'm tired of developers trying to sound innovative by telling the public they're interested in the console. I can't wait for E3 to see how many of them actually have games to show. -
My 360 has sort of been gathering dust lately, I only get around to playing it when I invite a friend over... I've got PGR3, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2, but the only game I touch is PGR3 (and I'm trying to forget PDZ). Nah, I'm playing Super Mario Strikers and even Super Mario Sunshine these days.

I've been watching it for two weeks and I think it's pretty cool, although the episodes are too short. Whenever it's over, I can't keep thinking, "Is that it?"

2006 is all headaches and bad tastes in my mouth.

I've been playing a bit of PD0... and it's oh so disappointing. I absolutely can't stand the game, and I don't know why! I liked the original one! I try to force myself into playing it but I end up playing some PGR or CoD instead.

2-3 times more powerful than Gamecube, now basically confirmed
Wolf replied to James McGeachie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
3 times more powerful than GC is pretty powerful, imo. -
I once moved my 360 from vertical to horizontal while playing a game (I was aware of what might happen, so I did it slowly), and it scratched the disk slightly. I can still play, though, and I keep the 360 vertical all the time.

My signature says it all.

If the Revo doesn't launch with at least one FPS...
-
That would be so awesome if they didn't release the specs. It would be in tune with what they're telling us, anyway.

Metroid Prime. "The cosmos..." and that whole speech gave me chills, then the music kicked in just as Samus's ship appeared. And then Samus jumps out, lands, that other music plays, the camera swirls around, goes through Samus's head and you're playing. Perfect.

Grabbed by the Ghoulies 2! ...just kidding.

Edge Issue 156! write-up of Revo Pad - A MUST READ
Wolf replied to Britprog's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Anyway, cool -
BEST. GAME. EVER! Anju + Kafei sidequest triggered so many things when I was playing it. On the last day, waiting inside the inn, the walls shaking, then Kafei comes inside and reveals himself. He and Anju make up and then you're just standing there with the Couple's Mask. Brilliant stuff. Not to mention the boss fights, especially Twinmold. And the moon, running up to that tree and talking to the kids. AND the music, Clock Town especially. Oh, and the Goron Mask!

Edge Issue 156! write-up of Revo Pad - A MUST READ
Wolf replied to Britprog's topic in Nintendo Gaming
A soft, rubbery feel, eh? I expected it to be more iPodish. Interesting, though, and I like EDGE's impressions. -
I might get the Core System.

I enjoyed Halo, but I thought Halo 2 was overrated. I haven't got Xbox Live, I was more interested in playing through the single player campain. I did it along with a friend, and it start to grow on us... until the craptacular ending hit us like a slap in the face. That game ended just before the main showdown. We were depressed for days.

Hey, you know what, you're correct. I think we have the exact same motherboard. I just unplugged it because it was making a sound like car accident. As for my CPU fan, it's still running. For a while, I was afraid that fan was making the noise, thankfully, I was wrong. My computer didn't shut down because of the heat, I turned it off myself because I didn't enjoy it reaching 58 degrees celcius. The mouse and keyboard connectors on my motherboard are very loose - it's hard to connect them. That's why I can't turn on my comp from time to time, the screen won't turn on because the pc isn't registering the mouse as being connected.

Before the current console war, I read analysts' predictions saying the GC would win because of its personality. Right.

I see. Well, with my computer opened up and all, I turned one of the fans so it blows cold air into the computer rather than hot air out. However, when I turned my computer back on again, the screen wasn't working. I spent ten minutes trying and failing before finally giving into a steadily rising temper, whereas I punched the computer. The joke's on me. I turn it on again and suddenly, my computer thinks I've plugged in a new RAID-controller (wth that is) and finds it can't install it properly. Then I boot up WoW and get a message saying the hardware's been changed and that I should restore the original settings. Then I go to Control Panel --> System only to find that my processor speed has DROPPED! Yup, all the way from 1.83ghz to 1.09! Furthermore, Google Talk, Gmail Notifier and MSN Messenger aren't working. I'm scared.

And you wouldn't happen to know what I'm supposed to do with them?
