Games Radar reckon Sony are going to ban retailers from selling pre-owned PS3 games. Could be rubbish like, their source is no more specific than "retailers" http://www.gamesradar.com/gb/ps3/game/news/article.jsp?articleId=20060524153157765035§ionId=1006

Wow a first person shooty game based on World War 2, that's a great idea, wonder why no-one else is making them.
-
Unfortunately in pretty much any thread you'll find kids going "Sir, Sir, shouldn't this be locked sir, please Sir"
-
So now are you saying it doesn't involve "rom hacking" now that you've gone looking for something else to justify it? That line on the site is a joke anyway. There's no difference between the Zelda homebrew game and the other stuff in the homebrew thread. The Wii60 site was mostly a collection of spoof pics and vids about the 360 and Wii together, so I thought it might be of interest to Wii fans. I'd just found it, other people in the thread said it was cool, it's not like I'm saying "Click here to get a free iPod" or getting paid per click. You don't want to see it, so it gets deleted? Does that happen to all threads one mod isn't interested in? It's your site and you can mod it however you like, I'm just saying it would be better if perfectly good threads weren't deleted for no reason just because someone has a lock button and an itchy trigger finger. Be honest, if another mod hadn't locked those threads, you wouldn't have even thought about it.

Er... what? There was no "rom hacking" going on, it was a freeware game made from scratch. That's what homebrew is. As for the wii60 site, I just thought it was quite cool to see 360 owners and Wii types banding together. Locking it was pretty pathetic in my opinion. There are loads of threads saying "hey, have a look at this site" that aren't locked for "advertising".
-
Is there any chance of some consitancy in modding and locking? It seems a bit clueless at times. Why on earth would this thread be locked? Advertising? I mean come on http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6704 If it was advertising, does it stop being advertising when the thread is locked? It doesn't make any sense. It just seems to be locking for the sake of it. The same lock-happy cluelessness in this thread too: http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5572&highlight=zelda+homebrew Locked, why? Even if you thought homebrew was illegal or something, you lock it, there's still a link to "illegal" content on the board. Then we have this thread: http://www.revo-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4897 Not only not locked, but a mod specifically saying it doesn't need to be locked. But pirate magazine scans are fine, apparently, even though they've resulted in other boards being shut. Are mods appointed because they know what they're doing, or because they're someone's mate?

OMG Advertising lock

Is the list anywhere on the official site? Heard some people say it's not official yet.

Is it true there's no PS2 memory card slot? If so I guess you can't even sell your PS2 to raise funds. Well, not unless you want to start all your PS2 games from scratch...

Possibly Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego on The MegaDrive played through a DC emulator. Only if there were a few people sitting around joining in though.

A huge wodge of that price is to become an early adapter to blue-ray, when it could end up being a new Betamax and when standalone players will come down in price massively by the time there's anything to play on it. The Sony guys are saying it's a massive bargain because a standalone blu-ray player is about £100 more than the PS3, but look at DVD Recorders. Went from £950 to £150 in next to no time.
-
Hmm, apparently I'm getting a £1000+ bonus in August which might increase the number of games I'll buy.
-
Yeah, bit dumb to call mock-ups "fakes"
-
Ah, fight as in battles. When I first saw the thread title the first thing I thought of was the bathroom scene in Scum. The battles in Band of Brothers seemed pretty realistic (apart from the fact Americans do all the fighting), but never having been shot at by Nazis I'm not in a position to say.
-
Seeing that list has actually made me realise I'm not incredibly excited about Zelda, have no desire to play Red Steel or Metroid Prime and am generally apathetic to most of the 3rd party games. Maybe I just don't have time for single player games anyw more.

Wii Sports Warioware Monkeyball That should do.
-
So $599 in the US, $803 in the UK.

If Lehmann didn't want to get sent off, he shouldn't have fouled the last man.
-
Surprised no-one's mentioned Golden Axe
-
It shows he was poor to both teams rather than biased again Arsenal.
-
Madden controls: How would that work if it only detected tilt?
-
Considering how Arsenal won the free kick they scored from, it's a bit cheeky to complain about the ref - even though he was pretty poor.
-
But incredibly expensive for a toy.

The appeal of many old games is lost if you didn't play them the first time round and thus miss out on the nostalgia factor.
