  1. I am desperately awaiting news on the first lot of DLC though. Need new maps!
  2. If you do decide to venture into the more traditional multiplayer modes start off with the small ones like Cargo and Blast. It's the bigger modes that are horrifically difficult.
  3. At this point all of the maps should be in rotation. I played for 20 minutes yesterday and got bored playing the same few.
  4. That is also my favourite piece of music from the soundtrack. So.. who do we think Rey is?
  5. I collected all that stuff too. Was great fun. Kinda hope they do sequel to this one, with an extremely expanded London.
  6. Well his face was probably clearer evidence it was him. In the flashback scene with R2, yeah, that'd be why his hand is lacking skin, so we know it's him.
  7. I don't mind grinding but prefer it when I don't notice I'm doing it. For example, in Fallout for the Witcher I just went off exploring and killing things and doing side quests, all the while gaining XP and levelling up.
  8. Well in this case it might be interesting to see Leia arguing with senate that they're not doing anything - or enough - to help stop the rise of the First Order. Things like that shouldn't consume the plot, but it would be interesting to see the New Republic, at least a little bit.
  9. Yeah I agree that the final part was not as good as the end of A New Hope. or RotJ. It did all seem a bit easy. Still, great film though.
  10. What are the chances we'll get those extra 20 minutes when it's released on DVD/Blu-ray? Hopefully they won't just be deleted scenes.
  11. I'm pretty sure it was slowed down by a load of trees and then slow, before gliding onto ice. Still, ship can take a beating. They don't build them like that anymore.
  12. The bay doors were open it's not like it went into hyperspace inside a space station or anything. And it crashed into snow and sand. Not rock. (From what I can remember) It's an old ship but must have been very well built and maintained well too, it just looks like "garbage". It's taken many a beating over the years, these aren't that that bad. And besides, these moments are meant to make you cringe in a "that doesn't look like it did the ship any good," kind of way.
  13. This is where I completely disagree. We were shown what life would sort of be like for them in the alternate future with Admiral Janeway. It would've been like that, except with all of them there. The whole point of the show was getting home. That moment when they finally reach Earth and even Janeway herself is in disbelief and shock, "We did it," is just amazing. The final shot being of Voyager slowly moving towards Earth, their ultimate goal, surrounded by Star Fleet vessels; no longer alone. It didn't need anything else.
  14. Cheers. I know what I'm buying myself for Christmas! : peace:
  15. I was beaming from ear-to-ear throughout the first watch. All I hope for the next instalment is that it's not an Empire copy and takes the characters (old and new) and does something completely new. Funnily enough I did miss some of the prequel politics.
  16. I liked the last episode, very fitting for Janeway's character. She got them home originally, but at what cost? She couldn't live with losing that many of her family. And I like Mulgrew's explanation; she wanted the captain to go down with the ship, "but live to tell the tale." A lot of people say Voyager weakened the Borg but I just think Janeway was just that good. And with regards to Enterprise.. generally I've found no one talks about it at all. It got better as it went on and should've gone on longer.
  17. Oh good, might finally be able to finish that last push to rank 50. Been knees deep in Fallout this last week or so.
  18. This isn't a plot hole.
  19. Voyager was always my favourite, followed by TNG. Janeway made it for me, along with Seven's arc from drone to human. Voyager is a well loved series, it just always seems the people who didn't like it can't help but mention it all the time. They're like the vegans of the Trek world.
  20. Day one for me. I've wanted VR games since I was a kid!
  21. It's probably best you play this before Witcher 3 as The Witcher does kinda feel like a step up, being open world and all. But I did really enjoy this game and will replay it at some point.
  22. Oh yeah totally. You can still kill people with basic weapons and having all the weapons/star cards at your disposal doesn't necessarily mean you're gonna do well either. But there are so many modes to choose from you'll find one you like.
