  1. We know they won't. I gave up on battle mode after MK64.
  2. When my nephew/partner and mates were all round we got them playing The Heist and during the van level, when the window gets punched out I turned on a fan and pointed at whoever was playing. My partner was like, "I CAN FEEL THE WIND!!!" Amazing moment. Luckily I have a very vivid imagination/brain and I kinda felt it anyway, even when playing alone and having no fan on. There may have been a draught I just suddenly started paying attention to. Same thing happened in The Assembly when I went through a decontamination chamber and was smoked. I could ever-so-slightly smell and feel it. Bizarre but cool.
  3. Miyamoto in drag?
  4. If I recall correctly I believe the producers of Farpoint said they could have double the amount of pixels with the pro as well as other enhancements. At least half the launch games appear to have pro patches. If the enhancements are good enough I'll pick up a pro in January. Don't have a 4K TV (yet) but now I know I don't want a Switch and love VR, I know where to invest!
  5. I also reckon there's a pretty high chance of at least several attempts. Not that I condone it of course. He's barbaric, idiotic, monster but I'd rather he be removed due to having no fucking clue what he's doing rather than made a martyr to right-wing extremists.
  6. Surely there'd be others? Don't think anyone suggested just those titles.
  7. There's a free Call of Duty VR mission out. It's pretty short, but free, so why not? Fun whilst it lasts and who doesn't enjoy flying about in space?
  8. If Trump did get elected I highly doubt he'd last the full term. Although I do not in any way want him to be elected, I gotta say, it'd be fairly interesting to see what would happen. Either way I imagine they'll be rioting.
  9. If both Mario and Zelda were finished for launch I think it'd be a great idea to launch with them both, as long as they had enough games in development to avoid a drought. Isn't it every Nintendo fans dream to have both a new Zelda and Mario to play? It would also mean the console could possibly see a sequel of both before the end of its life, whilst the middle could be filled with the expected MK's, Mario Parties and.. new IPs! It would certainly be a strong selling point for me.
  10. It's way too early to tell at this point how long it should go on for. Imagine trying to gauge how long Game of Thrones should've gone on for having only seen five episodes - and of course assuming you didn't know it was based on several large novels. Personally I have been lukewarm to the show thus far but am enjoying it more with every episode. I think it'll be another win for strong female characters (which is a term I resent having to say, but hey, give it a few more years hopefully we won't have to.) I suppose my main issues so far have been that although I haven't seen the original movie, I have watched and read a lot of science fiction, and so the themes aren't that unique. But I trust HBO to take the ideas in new and unexpected directions.
  11. Luge is probably the worst thing you could have tried, looks and gameplay wise.
  12. I do have Thumper, currently on level 7 - it's getting pretty difficult now! Not sure if we're PSN buddies. I'm somme_uk I'm currently (or was last I checked) number 4 in the world on some Tethered levels. I was number 2 but then more people started playing
  13. I haven't tried it yet. Shall give it a go!
  14. It's really difficult now. Especially as the new players have no idea what to do and the food runs out so quickly. I've been in my current town since it went F2P - we get the population up, I put up Tesla Towers and Cannons, I stop playing, and when I come back it's all gone!
  15. It's probably down to "protecting the kids", which is the parents job. Put in good parental controls, it can't be that difficult.
  16. You're clearly a pessimist.
  17. I really, really, really want this game!
  18. If you want something bleak and depressing try HBO's The Leftovers. (I love it and the music is scored by Max Richter who also did Black Mirror's 'Nosedive' episode from the new season.) The only character I feel has any real depth in TWD is Carol. The others are so flat I don't care who dies. Have much preferred Fear the Walking Dead.
  19. Some impressions: Tethered Love it! Definitely reminds me of the old artificial life sim: Creatures and Populous. I love the God-sim RTS genre though I'd never contemplated playing it in VR. It works so well. I really hope they add more the game or deliver a sequel. Hell, a Populous revival wouldn't go a miss. Windlands Made me queasy for a few minutes but I'd definitely gotten better at handling the more, sick-inducing, VR titles. I'm fine with this now. Swinging from tree to tree is definitely fun but the game can be infuriating at times. Accidentally jump and slightly hit a wall in the wrong direction and you'll off into the abyss. Weeping Doll Seems pretty lame to be honest. The voice acting is awful (it's English, I'm English, it's still too much), you can only move by teleporting, a choice would've been nice. And half the time things seem not to work properly. It took me ages to get a key in a door and when I successfully did I hadn't done anything different than before, or hadn't seemed to. Vev The first level is definitely the most dull. Soil and blood are pretty amazing. The music really suits it too. I really hope that's what it would actually look like to be in a blood stream, educational and fun! PixelGear Love it! Only three levels but it was very cheap. Aiming is great and the harder difficulty levels are challenging but never annoying. Hope they add more soon.
  20. Heh, I pass through there almost every day.
  21. I'd expect it to be home console price. Then again I can't really remember what the 3DS was priced compared to the WiiU.
  22. So you know all women do you?
  23. Before 1900 colours were generally not gender specific and around 1920 pink was for boys and blue for girls. So, that when it comes to toys, is not hardwired but forced upon kids. Myself, as a child, I liked to play with anything and everything: hero turtles, trains, barbies, mud, video games, board games dressing up (as both genders). And I'm a pretty well-adjusted, non violent person who simply cannot fathom why both genders are not treated equally. It's 2016 for crying out loud.
  24. It's all bollocks. The sooner we breed out violent, "manly" men the better.
  25. Got another VR gem: Tethered Imagine mixing the PC artificial life sim Creatures and God game Populous together. That's kinda what you end up with. A quite addictive, tricky at times RTS in which you hover above the islands as a God.
