  1. I bought Wayward Sky. I normally hate point-and-click games but being in it made me really want to play it. The story, mechanics and overall charm were just great.
  2. I'm the same. Even though I am perfectly happy with how PSVR works as it is. If there's a way to improve it I'm there. I'm finding it hard to go back to normal games now. :/
  3. I couldn't tell either. Got mine for 15 quid a few days after launch. Got PixelGear today. The accuracy with the move controller in dead on, no issues at all - perfect motion controls. Quite a fun little shooter, worth the 7 quid.
  4. My PS4 is normally in rest mode, rather than completely off, and that's just the way I like it. Straight back into whatever I was doing. So no, I'd rather not have a start-up screen. Might be nice the first dozen times but I'd rather be playing games or watching Netflix than watching a start-up screen.
  5. Well circumcision is archaic and should only be performed if medically necessary, but I've never thought it something that shouldn't be joked about. What was the joke?
  6. Pretty sure you need a second (local) player to help with that stuff.
  7. Thumper is really good. Playing it for too long makes me think that odd, empty and loud universe it the only thing that exists. A bit frightening really. haha
  8. I'll reserve my judgement about the games until we see more than six seconds of new content.
  9. I don't handheld game at all anymore. Hate playing on a small screen.
  10. Had some friends over tonight to play some VR. Thought we were only going to play for a couple of hours then have a few drinks. We only stopped playing at 4AM (started at 7PM). They all said how amazing it was - how they all wanted PSVR for themselves and how it was the most fun local multiplayer since the N64 days. Twas a great evening!
  11. Never had controller lag myself.
  12. I wish movie trailers were like that. Far too much gets given away these days.
  13. Trailer fell a bit flat for me but that could be for several reasons. The first being I had an awful commute to London this morning and then was trapped at uni due to a controlled detonation a mere 300 metres away at North Greenwich tube station! The other being I felt liked I'd already seen it all. What with the leaks and most of the games being ports I didn't actually see anything new. (Bar the 5 seconds of a new Mario.) And as I mentioned before the reveal: I'm not keen on portable gaming so for me it'd always be docked, which makes that huge screen pretty pointless. The small controllers looked awful and would anyone really want to take that out to a party? Looks like an accident waiting to happen! Still, I'll keep an open mind and see what games they reveal before launch. If they unveiled a new Metroid then I'd consider it. But in all likelihood I'll wait a few years until all the games are released and play them all together.
  14. I actually have no idea who she is barring all of her speculative/insider knowledge posts, posted in this thread.
  15. Couldn't they also add something like buying your own homestead and doing it up?
  16. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is horrible - in all the best ways. I can barely make it through one level at a time! An on-the-rails rollercoaster horror shooter in VR? What monsters thought that'd be a good idea?
  17. Seems like it might be an MMO then? Or something like GTA Online.
  18. Queen doesn't have a C in it :P
  19. I was also TeamNintendo so have also never played the first one. Seen a few videos here and there and it's Rockstar, so I'm all in if it does turn out to be a sequel.
  20. I really don't mind how slow the progress is - at least for now, who knows I could very well change my mind. But at the moment even the simplest of games and ideas (Tumble, Thumper) are thoroughly entertaining.
  21. What I've played has been mind blowing, as I've heard others say this is another "Mario 64" moment. It's the first time since then I've been utterly and completely wowed. I mean, you're in the game. Robinson is an upcoming game that looks good, (dinosaurs!) and Star Trek Bridge Crew should be fun as long as you're not teamed up with assholes.
  22. Yeah I'm pretty sure Move controllers are sold out in the UK. The Move controllers are very comfortable and having one in each hand in VR feels very natural.
  23. Luckily I had some extra cash so bought a camera last year - can't remember the exact reason. Think it might have been for Alien: Isolation and Tearaway. There is a bundle that has everything in, though I'm not sure if it's US only.
  24. Janeway getting debriefed was implied and the audience is intelligent enough to know how it went. We didn't need to see it. Pretty sure they got pardoned in advance, or it was discussed with Starfleet ahead of time. And Voyager was turned into a museum, at least in the future Admiral Janeway came from. We can assume saving Seven and Tuvok, and getting home a little earlier wouldn't have changed that. Though the books have the ship going off under Chakotay, I'm pretty sure the books aren't considered canon.
  25. The slow speeds are annoying, but my Internet speed is so slow anyway I don't really notice any change.
