hey guys,

We're motoring ahead with a new Hot Topic. Check out the latest show, where, among other things, we talk about what Virtual Console games we want to see on the Wii. So we want to know what titles YOU guys want to see on the VC, apart from the list Nintendo have already released.

Post your titles, and reasons, below, and we'll go through them in the next show!

We NEED Super Mario RPG in Europe. I hope it reaches us.

It would be mighty sweet to see classics like Chrono Trigger to make an appearance, and Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. If these 2 games make the virtual console, i'll be really happy.

Three games I want to see on the Virtual Console in particular [one for each Nintendo system, NES, SNES & N64]:

For the Nintendo Entertainment System I want to see the "original" Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy 1 the 1st game that has created one of the longest running and most successful game series ever. I believe it never was released in PAL regions, if it was, disregard it.

For Super Nintendo, I'd like to see Earthbound - Absolutely essential, never released in PAL regions and a really unique game it is.

For the Nintendo 64, the game i'd like to see in particular is Sin and Punishment: Successor to the Earth. An arcade on rails shooter that unfortunately wasn't released in PAL regions, another good game not experienced by people in PAL regions.

Harvest Moon 64. I searched all over Florida (not literally) for this game i nthe n64 era, maybe it was coming to an end, but isearched for it, and didnt find it. I knew it was only an American and Japanese game which is why i searched.

Soon after arriving home i realised the nice little feature of regioning. So even if i had bought it i wouldnt have been able to play it.

I really wanted this game. My main reason is Harvest Moon is the bomb with a farm attached to it inards.

If Streets of Rage is coming then im happy also, but if it isnt then thats another one. I think its that one with the guy with roller skates isnt it?

I guess i never thought of the VC as a way to play games i never could.

Uhh, i think that's why most of us are excited about the virtual console. Not to play games we've already played. :D

Right here goes:

Splatterhouse

Mario Kart 64

Banjo (not sure if this will happen cos of Rare)

Duck Tales (NES-what a classic, used to live it)

Track and Field

Kid Icarus

Secret of Mana

erm... thats it for now...so many classics though, there are a load of SNES games I want, I had an Amiga and Megadrive instead. Would love to see some Amiga games on it loads of classics, way too many to list. Chaos Engine being one of my fav games ever, was this ported to SNES at all?

Not me. I miss my old games really bad. There's not really many good games i've not played that i'm aware of.

I really want to have Streets of Rage 3 for Mega Drive on VC. I loved the first two, but I played them before I had the Internet or read gaming magazines so I had no idea there was a third one. I saw some screenshots of it the other day and thought 'I want that game... now'

EDIT: And I would love it if they added a save feature to all the Streets of Rage games for VC.

I remember Geordie Racer.. if presented with that game even today I could probably get through it.

I think I must be the only person who didn't have a NES/SNES/N64/PC-Engine to play on. I dunno what I was doing for those years but the virtual console is gonna be where I spent at least half of my video gaming allowance. And well over half of my videogame time.

Huh..? I'm sure I posted here before. Oh well.

VC Games I want;

Chrono Trigger, on account of it being the best game of all time (yes, I know you're tired of hearing this from me, as are my family and friends)

Street Fighter 2 Turbo, this game I want very very badly, online multiplayer would be an added perk, but if not, I'll settle for it in it's original form.

Streets of Rage 2, mainly for it's multiplayer mode, I'd love to introduce some of my friends to it.

Goldeneyse + Perfect Dark, and please fix the framerate for both, these are my 2 favourite FPS' of all time and being able to play them with my cube controller with dual analog controlls (this was possible on the N64, it was possible to map the looking and turning to the C buttons) would pwn oh so very much. Plus being able to play perfect dark properly, and not only when my mate brought his expansion pak round :(.

Secret of Mana - Because I never finished it.

Final Fantasy Series - Would be nice to own all the retro ones on a single console...

There are plenty more, but I'm sure I've bored you all enough for one day.

This is familiar to you because the same thread is copied twice into different boards. It's for the podcast, and we wanted to get as many replies as possible. So, yeah, its in here and retro.

im the same, didnt have a NES till later on, didnt have a SNES had an N64 though, didnt know PC Engine existed at the time.

I'll admit I am very excited about playing the original Legend Of Zelda, never played it and wanna see where it all started, cos lets face if nobody had bought that Zelda may not have existed today....
