That test won't work for me, but I know the spec anyway.

Processor: AMD AthlonXP 3000+ (2200MHz)

Memory: 1GB Corsair DDR400

Motherboard: Abit NF7-S V2.0

Video: ATI Radeon X800 XT PE (540MHz core/590MHz memory)

Audio: nVidia nForce onboard audio

Throw in two 80GB hard drives, two DVD-RWs, and a shitload of games, movies, music and porn, and you've got my fantastic plastic friend.

My PC (2000+ Athlon XP, 512 DDR, 160GB HDD, Radeon 9200) sucks balls at the moment (then again, one could argue that it sucks balls anyway...) Heck, it doesn't even switch on!!

However, my iBook 1.2Ghz Power PC G4, 768 DDR just fookin rocks my socks completely!!

If you ever come into money, invest in 2GB of RAM (don't fill all your slots, I suggest buying 2x 1GB sticks, high performance) and it will make a difference in Battlefield 2 and any games that require a LOT of system resources.

Apart from that, your system kicks the ass.

AMD Sempron 2800+, MMX, 3Dnow, ~2.0Ghz

224MB RAM

Operating: Windows XP

Disc space: 74.5GB

Free space: 51.3GB

Hmm, what else... 5 USB 2.0 ports, DVD/CD Writer, Front slots for SD cards, Smartmedia cards, and some others I don't recognise. I think one of the slots is Magicgate, it's got the same logo as the PS2 memory cards on it.

Oh yeah, and my mouse has a red glow underneath which looks really cool at night.

Anyway, this PC is deathly slow, and crashes when I try to watch DVDs on it.

That would be your lack of RAM. And as for the DVD's - thats shoddy XP for you.

It will probably be regular DDR RAM (not DDR2), as for the speed, well depends on how fast you're running the RAM at the moment, but if you buy quicker RAM it will just work slower.

That will work at PC3200 which is the highest speed it might be running at, and it's only like 32 quid. It will help a lot.

All you have to do is slot it in gently and evenly into the slot (only goes one way round) and then make sure the clips popup into the side of it to hold it in firm, you should never need to use too much force. You don't have to configure anything.

I know, it's my only downside. BF2 and FEAR both really need 2gigs for some reason. FEAR MP, which is just a graphically intensive at point really, funs absolutly perfect on max settings. However The single player DEMO stutter a bit, especially when moving from one area to another. BF2 runs pretty smoothly, I don't get any real problems there (apart from my wireless network). Otherwise everything else runs perfect :D
