Guest Ford Prefect Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 taken from my front balcony about 20 mins ago, need i say any more? (well other than the fact that you've got no bloody right to moan about the weather back in blighty! )
conzer16 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Oh I'd love a bit of snow! I much prefer cold weather than wet weather.
mcj metroid Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 fucking hell!the sun in shining here if it's any consolation:D
triforce_keeper Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I want snow Havent had heavy snow here for AGES!
Nintendork Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Nicely, I can't wait for the snow to come so I can nick a McDonalds tray and go sledding in Castle Park. I am not a huge fan of winter because there's very few places underground or inside where we can skateboard in the UK. Should be able to drive by then though which means indoor parks will be a mere 30 minutes away. Raining here:
Guest Ford Prefect Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 i've got a short video if any one cares to host it for me.....? gives you a better idea of how shit it is, more so than the photos.
demonmike04 Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Its absolutely pissing down here, but I see no problem with weather. Snow's pretty, its awesome access if some one in public pisses you off. Only bad thing is closing roads because of it. But i've been hoping for snow here, we never get a decent ammount to stay on the ground, it better not snow on the day London Expo goes on though.

MoogleViper Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 england always falls apart when there's so much as a few inches on the ground. there's never any roads shut here because of the snow..... It's not just snow either. If it's too hot everybody breaks down and can't move.

MoogleViper Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Snow sucks big time. I feel sorry for you. What? Snow is the most amazing form of weather I have ever experienced.
Eenuh Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What? Snow is the most amazing form of weather I have ever experienced. Obviously you don't have to bike through it very often then. It's cold, it's wet, it's dangerous. There is nothing good about snow other than looking pretty. And it only looks pretty when I am -inside- and can look at it from a nicely warm room.

You don't know how lucky you are.
Twilight Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 there's never any roads shut here because of the snow..... Same here but it´s kinda understandable since it snows so often. We haven´t had any snow yet and I´m pretty glad about it. I don´t have anything against Winter but I don´t really miss it yet. Sunny Winter days with subzero weather are really beautiful, though...
Guest Ford Prefect Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 What? Snow is the most amazing form of weather I have ever experienced. experience it from october/november till april/may and you'll soon change your mind............
mcj metroid Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 At least in snow you can do various sports and have fights(ok im not talking blizzard)but what the hell can you do in rain?

True I've never experienced lots of snow for long periods of time but when I was in north sweden and we had -29 degrees c and quite a few feet of snow I loved it and didn't want t go back. At least in snow you can do various sports and have fights(ok im not talking blizzard)but what the hell can you do in rain? Female mud wrestling.
Eenuh Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 It's just like rain, but it's pretty and fun. You don't know how lucky you are. It's not fun at all. Every time there's been snow, I've slipped and fell so many times it's not even funny anymore. Even fell with my bike once and ended up on the road; luckily the oncoming cars could still stop and not run over me. I don't like snow at all. I even prefer rain over it.
mcj metroid Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Female mud wrestling. i will admit i had it coming.

I guess we both live in extremes. I never had snow here, except last winter, it snowed 10 mins in like 50 years. Everyone was so happy.
Zell Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Oh dear it's raining again. Means I'm stuck inside... ALL DAY... so bored.
