Death Note is about Light Yagami who is a young but bright high school student who has until recently led a boring and uneventful life. That changed very quickly when he found a strange notebook with the title "Death Note" lying on the ground one day in 2003. It wasn't until later that he realized that this "Death Note" was the tool of a shinigami (god of death in Japanese) from another world named Ryuk, and that it had the power to kill whoever's name was written on its pages, so long as the writer knew the victim's face as well so it won't kill anyone sharing the same name. Light realises his ability to kill whomever he wishes, and he uses it to begin a "cleansing" of the world from evil. It does not take the police long to realise that somebody is responsible for the mysterious deaths of criminals, and he is then soon hunted by the Japanese police force and a mysterious detective known as "L". So as Light works towards his "perfect" world, devoid of crime and injustice, L works to catch the mysterious murderer, dubbed "Kira" (Japanese pronunciation of Killer) by the press and end the increasingly senseless deaths of criminals and anyone who gets too close to the truth. XD I would do it now, but, I haven't put them all together yet..... I've only got through my Higurashi figures so far........I'm kind of upset that I couldn't get the whole collection of them. ; ; I was only like 2 away on one of the sets and one away on the other. ; ; On one of the sets I got a couple of doubles as well, but, they are cool because you can modify there face and pose without it looking strange. darkcloud Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 Ok I've got 2 photos of most my figures (including all but one of my Higurashi figures....... It's aonther version of Rena with her axe, but, when I was putting the axe in her hand the handle snapped off. lol I superglued it together and put it on my shelf thus it isn't in the picture.......) with only a couple missing.... First up the majority of the new models I got..... Most of these I won from arcade machines at a fraction of the normal price. There is the complete capcom series (there are many series' of capcom figures this just happened to be the one in the arcade machine), 3 pheonix wright figures (1 has fallen over and is invisible), the majority of two series of Higurashi figures, a couple of Dragon Ball Z figures and a random Sakura......... Oh and I forgot to mention one other... Lloyd. lol He was the first figure I picked up in Japan....... As you can see it didn't stay that way too long. =P Next up is my awesome Genshiken collection...... I had to buy these all at full price and I had to buy almost two boxes of them to finally get them all..... These were the last two boxes animate had so when the last 3 I bought were the 3 I needed to complete the set I was amazingly happy. lol All the little parts aren't in the picture as I'm scared I'll lose them.... They are staying in a box until I put these in there permanent home. Oh and I've watched up to 21 of Higurashi... I downloaded the rest yesterday and will watch them later.
