gj15987
Yay! I am going surfing on Tuesday in Gower, Wales. I'm going to Swansea Uni in September and I'd like to take up surfing so I thought I'd take a lesson or two before I buy a board. Anyone here surf, or anything similar? Blackfox
Take a few practise lessons before you buy the equipment. Could be a huge waste of money otherwise..

Jimmy3000
Take some lessons etc first before you buy the equiptment etc, i have been surfing in Croyd last 3 years and its great fun but live no where near any surfing spots =( Your better off finding a uk surfing community and looking around there, that would be the best advice
Fierce_LiNk
My ex-girlfriend used to surf. I think she still does actually. She's at Plymouth university, and apparantly thats pretty good for surfing, or something. Must have a good surfing community there.
Ashley
I've always wanted to learn to surf, but I like in the Midlands where the nearest ocean is hours away.
MoogleViper
I've always wanted to learn to surf, but I like in the Midlands where the nearest ocean is hours away. Me too. However there are quite a few lakes around so I might try windsurfing or wakeboarding.
