Roostophe Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 1-1 draw against Chelsea! HA! And it was homegrown talent and not £20m signings or however much that nicked the point. Anyway, any of you know that Villa Park might be renamed soon? oh yeah, It's a deal with a "Multi-national company based in the Midlands." I have a feeling it might be...Cadbury's, it will probably be called the Cadbury's Stadium.
BlueStar Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Bird's Custard Crescent? Bakelite Park? Maybe Cadbury will do what Nestle did when naming Kit Kat Crescent and call your ground The Fruit And Nut Stadium or something.

Maybe it won't be the whole stadium but just a stand. Maybe I'll get a season ticket on the Mini Rolls Stand.
Babooo Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 i fuckin hate internationals soooooo much. Just messes everything up.
Ramar Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Could be the CurlyWurly Stadium. Maybe it won't be the whole stadium but just a stand. Maybe I'll get a season ticket on the Mini Rolls Stand. CurlyWurly Stadium For The WIN! Think of the pre-match chocolate give aways. Fans will be cheering "Can we play you every week" not just to win but for the free chocolate. :P
Stocka Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 i fuckin hate internationals soooooo much. Just messes everything up. I feel the pain. The weekend just doesn't feel right without league football going on, and no Match of the Day to look forward to on a saturday night. GRAH

Think about what could happen at Easter, they give everybody funkin' Easter Eggs! Internationals annoy me as well, I no longer have the love for England as I had before, as if I think we're heading for nothing but more misery whereas Villa are more likely to get some silverware, plus we're still unbeaten adds to it.
Stocka Posted October 6, 2006 Author Posted October 6, 2006 I miss the premiership already and it's not even saturday yet... ...lol.
Babooo Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I miss the premiership already and it's not even saturday yet... ...lol. I know what you mean mate.....
Charlie Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 :D :D Best Scottish result ever? I couldn't believe it when the goal went in, the whole pub went crazy! We were actually hugging complete strangers (Total Club Manager, anyone?). We didn't actually know who it was who scored until about 15 minutes later! :D :D :D
Babooo Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Can't beleive the scotland score.....or the Wales score.
Fierce_LiNk Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 or the Wales score. *hangs head in shame* In all fairness, we never claimed we were all that great at football, anyway! *head still remains bowed*
conzer16 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Hey Fierce, maybe the Ireland-Wales games will be a bit of craic, both teams are basically out of it and have nothing to lose! *joins F_L in head-hanging......*
BlueStar Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Hehe, Bellamy's debut as captain. Hope his court case goes just as well. Loved the guy who got a dragon shaved into the back of his head and proceeded to have a nightmare as well.
gmac Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 well with Gerrard out suspended I doubt he'll drop Lampard
gaggle64 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I've only just caught up with saturdays fixtures. I've never been enamoured with McClarean but good god. 0-0 at home against Macedonia? Basic stuff here Steve. Also bad luck to Wales, and well done to Scotland. Now will someone just tell me how the hell they beat France?
gmac Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 simple answer we scored they didn't they had pretty much all the ball but never really created too many chances, we could even have made it 2-0 at one point
Charlie Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I have to say, we were incredibly lucky to get the goal, we really didn't deserve it. Henry hit the post, Viera's goal disallowed, Trezeguet's goal disallowed. Countless other chances. But, who cares?
Roostophe Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Yeah. 1-0 Scotland. Now there is more reason for me to wear a Scotland shirt.
gaggle64 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Steve says he wants a performance of "pride and passion", possibly forgetting that it's his job to make sure that happens. Unless England prove nothing short of spectacular in the next game, I'll be amased if he lasts the year. To be honest I hope he doesn't.
Platty Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Mclaren makes me laugh. He says we need to get as many crosses into the box as possible...but he leaves the best crosser of the ball out of the team...Beckham. Watching downing trying to cross almost makes me cry. We need to sort it out..
