Platty Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I think celtic would do ok. But as you say they wouldnt break into the top 4 maybe just the top 7. I would hate to see them and Rangers in the Premiership tho. That is not the answer to the SPL dominance problems.
Atomic Boo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Well, they evenly matched Blackburn, but they also won and beat (in two matches) Manchester United. I think they can give a pretty good account of themselves. I was hoping you wouldnt mention that, it was a fluke anyway. Just saw on Newsround, yes Newsround, that in professional football someone was booked for kissing the ref. He later said that he didnt know that was a bookable offense. What an idiot. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/sports/2007-04/24/content_858197.htm Does anyone exactly know when Beckam will be wearing this? http://dsp.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pG01-2750129p275w.jpg itll be on national news once he has played his first match for them or has scored his first goal etc
Zechs Merquise Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Scottish teams would be lost in the premiership. I think Celtic would achievemid table respectability, but nothing more. Rangers would struggle. Anyone got any predicitons for tonight? All these defenders being injured worries me a little.
Atomic Boo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Yeah, many defenders are out: Vidic, Ferdinand, Neville, Evra. At least we still have Brown and Heinze at the back. It just means the midfield need to get back quickly and the attacking players need to score.

Even Fletcher was playing in defence lately.

Even Fletcher was playing in defence lately. I know it is, and they say Chelsea had a tough time when it was just Terry and Robben out. This is a crucial time in the season and injuries are mounting but we are still good at the back. Sir Alex is happy with the squad so all should be good. Going to be a tense game though. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6583495.stm
Goron_3 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I reckon it's going to be a United-Liverpool final, with United winning 3-1 tonight (rooney, giggs and ronaldo....what pace ), and then a 1-1 draw at the San Siro. What a game this will be.
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 w00000. Come on, United! Love you, Ronaldo. Edit: Fuck, Milan have scored. Away goal, bollocks. 1-2
Noodleman Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Kaka is so awesome, best player in the world at the moment in my opinion.
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Kaka is so awesome, best player in the world at the moment in my opinion. He can fuck right off! Who does he think he is scoring two against us. Has he no shame?
Noodleman Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 He can fuck right off! Who does he think he is scoring two against us. Has he no shame? Comedy defending for the 2nd one tbh.
Fierce_LiNk Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Comedy defending for the 2nd one tbh. It was farcical. Horrible defending. A shame, I think we were playing pretty well.
spirited away Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Lol Evra takeout! He floored Heinze. The two goals were the only thing they did the whole half, unlucky United.
Atomic Boo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Shit performance at the moment, United still haven't settled or controlled the midfield. We need to win this by a goal if we're going to have a chance in the second leg.
Guest Stefkov Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Arg I turn on the tv and see United up 1. Then to concede twice. Come on United, what happened the the awesome performance of the 7 goal win?
Zechs Merquise Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 total rubbish in defence, the world's best attacking team for sure, but with out three best defenders out, we just can't stop a decent attack. Kaka's goals were not gifted to him by two defensive gaffes.
Noodleman Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 u only say that cos he is on the score sheet, when it comes to form over the whole of the season no 1 is touching ronaldo... and this is what happens when vidic, rio and nevs get fuckin injured... we need another goal to keep us in this tie thats for sure... No im saying it on the basis that everytime i've seen Milan play over the last 2 season hes run the game for them, much like hes doing tonight.
spirited away Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 2-2. Great Scholes chip. 3-2 ROONEY ROONEY!
Guest Stefkov Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 YEEEEAAAHHH I was nearly crying the goal was that good.
Zechs Merquise Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Man, that second goal by Rooney was priceless. Even with a half baked defence, we're still brilliant. Still it's a shame those two defensive blunders resulted in goals.
Atomic Boo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 That was complete and utter awesome. I screamed so loud when that went in lets all hug! From now on every Manu supporter here will have 'Rooney is a ledge' in their sig.
Ellmeister Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 *looks for infinite anti-Chelsea quotes noting how they always get lucky last minute goals* Good game. Kakas goals were awesome, but scholes's chip was awesome to.
