Eenuh Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Saw them play last Friday on the Werchter festival and thought they were amazing. They of course played such classics as New Born, Plug In Baby, Feeling Good, Time Is Running Out... but also a couple of their new songs. Not sure I can remember them all (not that familiar with them yet), but Super Massive Black Hole got a great response from the crowd I think and they topped off their performance (in the encore) with Knights of Cydonia. Fucking amazing. I loved it. So gonna get their album soon.
Dan_Dare Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Easily the best live act I've seen. saw em on the origin tour back in the day + T in the park on the absolution tour. Joygasmic.
BGS Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 yeah, they are utterly fantastic live. Seeing them twice this year, once at reading and the other at the Eden Project which I am especially looking forward to. It's gonna be absolutely unbelievable seeing them play there.
Colin Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Tickets went on sale today for UK dates. Anyone get them? A mate of mine sorted me and my brother out standing tickets for the Wembley date, which is where I saw them a few years back and that was in seating. Were £35 per ticket.............quite a bit, but definitly worth it.
Dan_Dare Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I decided to give it a miss. monetary constraints meet seen em twice already and I can't be bothered this time...
Twozzok Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Got tickets for the second wembley date. Sold out in quarter of an hour.
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 If they were playing in Brighton, those tickets would be mine! Dammit. What takes the piss is this. They've got a cardiff date. Now, why couldn't they have played the Cardiff date like...now. :p Why do they have to be so inconsiderate?!
Sarka Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Six of my friends are going to see them in Edinburgh, but I don't have enough money to get their, the tickets, go to London and get the Wii. Sorry Muse.
CoolFunkMan Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I got two tickets yesterday in the presale for NEC, Birmingham. Can't freakin' wait!! :D:D
Eenuh Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 We (well, my dad) tried to get tickets for their concert in Antwerp in December, but it's likely we won't have any tickets at all. They apparently sold out pretty fast... I hope some still become available though. I'd love to see them again.
ipaul Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 i got muse tickets!! woo!! Not only my first Muse gig but my first gig:bouncy: By a professional band anyways. To anyone whos seen them - will this spoil alot of the other concerts i may see as theyre so good live?
Dan_Dare Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 in a word: yes. they were my first gig too. I hope you have as much fun as me, because it took years for anyone to surpass the first time i saw em course, it took seeing them live a 2nd time to do it =)
immy Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Does the better sound quality make this album worth buying over certain over meathods?
