Nintendo Conference Disscussion

Recommended Posts

(Smash Bros, the opening of the front panel, release dates and prices...when can we expect these?).

TGS? But when is that? If its too close to November, maybe some stuff before.

The graphics where better than I thought anyway, some looked really good.

...As i said about Metroid. It looks like the Gamecube; very unimpressed. Look:

wii.nintendo.com/games_metroid.html

I'm sure it'll have fine gameplay though.

As for the point that i don't have to play kiddy games, well...I do if i go for Nintendo at the moment. How many proper adult games have be showcased, none so far and i'm worried. I don't consider Red Steel looking like one btw.

PS may have Hello Kitty, it has Barbie too. But it also has Killzone, MGS, a non baby-style FF as CC is. I won't buy them, as I said...I just wish Nintendo'd pull it's bloody finger out and conform to the age 10+ of society.

I really can't believe how many people are disappointed just for the fact the DIDN'T SHOW A NEW SMASH BROS GAME????

It will come, it's the Iwata's game, so it will come.

I saw alot of things that I maybe was suspecting somewhat but satisfied me alot anyway.

Zelda looks slick, much more nicer than I have seen it until today, mario looks fun as ever, red steel and excite truck look fun and nice for what they are trying to achieve (both very arcade style, I'll give you that),

very nice DS games (ff3,starfox,pokemon) and a nice cube closer with super mario paper.

Maybe I am to much a fanboy, but this is simply my taste in games.

That is a pretty bad screen, does look like it could be on the GC but when on the trailer it looked better.Your right about the PS2 games they are certainly mature ones, though the Cube has quite a few, just not as much.Red Steel would be better if they added blood but they want to keep the rating for it low.

Seriously, for me the DS lineup at E3 blows every other system so far.

I can't believe the huge number of great games coming out this year. :yay:

I'm particularly impressed with Hotel Dusk: Room 215, from the guys that made Another Code (it looks awesome).

I must admit I expected to see a few more surprises for the Wii. Most of the stuff shown was expected (except a couple of first party titles like Disaster).

...There you go; now you're seeing the light.

I'm not saying it was a 100% bollocks conference, there were a few sparkles of goodness. Just a shame most of it was pretty poorly put together, looked awful, and nothing was new.

Who saw Sony's conference? It just looked so so much slicker, plasma screens everywhere and stuff, plus the trailers were bang on...Sadly impressed.

Couple of sides intresting me: (as well as from the big names)

Hammer

Day of Crisis

Trauma Centre - definitly lookin forward to that.

Medal of Honour - hope it shares some similarity with the PC version.

Quite a wide variey there - bags of third party support. Also: "Resi series". I'm intrigued.

Yeah, I'm really excited about Mario. Obviously they seem to have a solid FHC system for it, I'll be very intrested to play it myself and see how it tranlates into platforming gameplay.

The wii FHC speaker - i wonder how meaty it is. That could be pretty cool.

PS - Excite-Truck. I hope it's as good as Excite Bike. The 64 version was classy.
