Nintendork Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Ch-ch-ch-ch-check it out Wh-wh-wh-wh-what's it all about? Tony Hawks next gen footage baby, physics and the lighting. This footage alone has sold a PS3 here.. it's amazing and I couldn't care less for that bullshit exclusive 'Downhill Jam' version which isn't being developped by Neversoft. I'll still get a Wii but jeez that footage is hot.
m_fergy Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Look alright I wouldnt say it has made my mind up about buying a PS3
Cubechris Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 It was his t-shirt that impressed you? Wasn't it!
Pit-Jr Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 yeah the Wii definately cant handle those mind-bending physics or that N64-quality concrete texture
Nintendork Posted April 30, 2006 Author Posted April 30, 2006 Yeah well it is a freaking test for god sake, they're just testing.. they're probably still working on level design. Yeah the shirt did impress me because it stretched when he ollied up and down and the lighting flexed. Huge step up from the jeans on this:
1UP Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 looked ok.. nothin special for next gen. Yeah, I mean the animation, the self-shadowin and the lighting ... totally not next-gen ... <_<
Caris Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I thought it was really really good, the character moves so much more the physics are 100x's better.
Chuck Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 The vids amazing, the character actually looks and moves like a real person!
rokhed00 Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Shame improved character animation doesn't equate to decent gameplay. Tony Hawks hasn't been worth playing since THPS3 or 4, doubt the next one will be any different to the last gameplaywise.
spirited away Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 The vids amazing, the character actually looks and moves like a real person! Something i dont like about the amount of realsim in the graphics...then again im strange.
Roostophe Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 The vid looked a lot realistic. I liked the added bit of losing balance animation, rather than keeping the same stance and swaying like a metronome.
BeerMonkey Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 i dont like tony hawks games anymore but those graphics did look very good...and thats just the testing stage so could get better lighting etc when comes to launch..no..
