Posted April 23, 2006 There are some good gigs here! I wish I had realised that Maximo Park had played the Jug of Ale, its a great venue. This year i have seen Bullet for my Valentine, Fozzy, Coheed and Cambria, We are Scientists (twice), Cave In,Deathcad for Cutie, Fall of Troy, Fightstar, 65daysofstatic, Kula Shaker, Hundred Reasons, plus ramdom local bands and support for all the above. I mean, sure, I knew they would be awesome beforehand from what I heard/saw on youtube . . . But my god, they were more than that. They played Scotland last week and London last night . . . They are still playing Manchester and Birmingham next week, but it might be sold out. Worth checking out if they are still on sale if you are willing to travel though. They are playing with O2 festival too at London and Leeds in June too, but I'm not sure if it has that "Golden" and "General" admission thing, which would take ALOT of the fun away. Posted April 23, 2006 the Flaming Lips are the single best gig I've ever been to saw them at T in the Park a couple of years ago when the White Stripes had to pull out and then again that November at the Carling Academy was soo gutted they didn't come to Glasgow on this tour, but its probably safe to say they'll tour again after the summer Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
