Because they have played a lot more than you, therefore the "too much of a good thing" theorum comes into effect. Quite simple really. I ruined Smash Bros by overplaying it. Vegas is giving me that smile Gears used to give me online. Oh and my dinner's at 8 so if you and Caris wouldn't mind waiting an extra half an hour to let me join in if you're doing co-op at 8.
