Go over to Kotaku and there's a bit of stuff on Rock Band. 3 or 4 multiplayer looks amazing. It won't come with it's own guitar would it? I still want to get GHII :(

Instruments

Guitar Controller

Modeled after the legendary Fender® Stratocaster® and used for both guitar and bass parts.

• A second set of fret buttons on the neck of the guitar. Using these buttons players can "finger tap" notes in solos - no strumming required

• A five-way FX switch lets players choose their own showboating audio FX, including flanger, wah wah, echo, and chorus

• Wired & Wireless versions

Drum Controller

Captures the raw power, physicality, and sheer enjoyment of real drumming.

• Big circular pads that can take a bashing

• An awesome foot pedal that emulates the resistance and speed of a real kick drum pedal

• Real drum sticks

• Built in joypad with buttons and direction pad for easy control of menus and other UI

Microphone

Let's players belt out the lyrics to some of the most recognizable rock anthems of all time!

• Hand held microphone with authentic styling and weight

• Rates singers in real-time, using pitch, rhythm and phoneme detection

• Percussion breaks - tap the mic against your hand to play the tambourine and cowbell notes

I wonder if they'll do different bundles with the different equipment? I wonder how much it'll al cost in the end.

I cannae wait! I'll probably end up using my own drum sticks though, unless the ones shipped are the same size as the ones i like playing with.

Also, the neck frest on the guitar sounds quite clever, the finger-tappin thing. And hitting the mic on your hand t do the tambourine, they've really gone into depth with this.

I hope they release 3 different versions of it and all the equipment seperately too.

The Drum version

Guitar version

Microphone version

I would get the drum version as I already have the GH2 guitar. Hopefully the microphone won't be too much by itself or you can just use a normal USB one (or the XBL one?)

I think they already said they're releasing them separately, i hope anyway.

I'm getting the drum version because i'm a drummer, i reckon, from the looks of it, it'll really help. I reckon it's the on that will actually help you learn that isntrument (that is if you've not palyed it befre).

Some great news. I've not had any problems with mine, apart from a few days ago, some hardware failure, but it was only one quarter of the ring.

Works fine now though.

Good to hear that I have another year and a bit on my warranty now.

That is great news Arnold, thanks for the heads up. It has also been confirmed that this is GLOBAL, so the likes of me and Caboose/Chuck/Rob who just had to pay to get ours fixed will get a refund within the next 12 weeks.

I'm glad as well, I've had mine inactive for about a month now, not been able to pay for the repair what with no job, but I have jsut started work this week so I could after the month but to know i've got an extended Warranty to play with, I'm gonna have to phone them up at the weekend and get things sroted.

One thing i ahve jsut thought about though, now they announce ity...it's gonan take a loooong time to get it back, I'm guessing everyone will take advantage of this so they'll have a lot of back logged 360's to go through. Still awsome news though

and if you've not got Gwars already get it, bloody amazing game

I just want to say that the Pacifist achievement was the most fun I've had in a while. Only took me a few attempts.
