Daft Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Dante's actually a machine. N-Europe acquire him on the 16th of September, 2005. The system goes on-line August 4th, 2009. Human decisions are removed from posting. Dante begins to post at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, December 31st. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.

Dante Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 (edited) ¬_¬. I did watch a lot of doctor who as a kid and on UK gold also I was trying to be helpful. New Clips Edited December 31, 2009 by Dante
flameboy Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Holy shit amazing. Yeah that was pretty amazing Daft, nice one! ¬_¬. I did watch a lot of doctor who as a kid and on UK gold also I was trying to be helpful. New Clips I know mate...it was more in jest than having a genuine pop...
Shorty Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I thought the new doctor looked a bit like George McFly.
Serebii Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Wow, that episode was amazing. There was not one bit I didn't like
flameboy Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Wow, that episode was amazing. There was not one bit I didn't like seriously? All I could think is what a load of sentimental ego stroking shite!
Daft Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 That was incredibly meh (albeit with some good moments - none of the epic ones - hint, hint) and I still don't like Matt Smith's face. Thank God that's the end of Russell T Davis.
Mike Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Yeah, I didn't think it was that great. Classic Russell T Davies, which I suppose means something different to different people. I'm very confused about what happened with the Master and the Time Lords, too. Re. Matt Smith's face - you've got to feel sorry for the guy: first scene and they're already making fun of his chin!
Sec Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 seriously? All I could think is what a load of sentimental ego stroking shite! a bit, but it was after a long period of time of him playing the doctor, so i think i could just about accept it
Dante Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Good episode but drawn out abit at the end and sad that he didn't want to die. Shame that no preview was done.
Happenstance Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I didnt think much of the main story, stuff with the Time Lords and the Master felt a bit flat to me. Didnt mind the last 5 mins or so and David Tennants last line actually got to me a bit, sad to see him leave.

Daft Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Again, the best bits were the quieter moments. The bit where the Master and the Doctor are talking and at the very end when the Doctor said he didn't want to die - a great bit.
Serebii Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Wow, I didn't expect opinions to differ so much with this one
Dante Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Alot of Star .. theme reference's in final episode ie Star War, Star Treck, Starbug (Red Drawf).
Serebii Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/newyear/ Preview of Season 5
Happenstance Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Trailer for the next series: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/newyear/ EDIT: ooooo one minute behind
flameboy Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 a bit, but it was after a long period of time of him playing the doctor, so i think i could just about accept it But there were plenty of other doctors who played him large lengths of times and didn't get such a glorified send off...look at slyvester mccoy he walked out of the tardis and just got shot! (granted that was in a failed film attempt to bring back the series) I didnt think much of the main story, stuff with the Time Lords and the Master felt a bit flat to me. Didnt mind the last 5 mins or so and David Tennants last line actually got to me a bit, sad to see him leave. Yeah same here the timelords glorious comeback was nothing more than them standing in a room and shouting! So are we to assume that old lady is Donna? Therefore perhaps confirming what people have thought for a long time that she is Romana?!
welsh_gamer Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Some good character moments but the main plot was underwhelming, and as predicted the Time Lords were only brought back for a few minutes. I didn't think I would cry, but the floodgates opened at the book signing, and again at the church and finally when Tennant cried that he didn't want to "die". Matt Smith brought a smile to my face and made me laugh with his "I'm a girl!?" line. Looking forward to seeing him in Spring, as I am getting a bit bored with Tennant, just get him out of the pin-striped suit and trenchcoat!
Daft Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 So are we to assume that old lady is Donna? Therefore perhaps confirming what people have thought for a long time that she is Romana?! What's Romana? I thought that was the Doctor's mum. MILF
Dante Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 What's Romana? I thought that was the Doctor's mum. MILF Romana is timeLord lady that was fourth doctor companion.
Daft Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Ah, right. Cheers. Also, do when know the reason why none of the Time Lords are on first name terms?
Serebii Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I figured that the lady was the Doctor's mother...that makes more sense than her being Donna or Romana
flameboy Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Ah, right. Cheers. Also, do when know the reason why none of the Time Lords are on first name terms? Dunno lol cos they are a formal organisation and not friends?! Oh what he said about Romana I don't mean to sound totally down on Doctor Who but hated that preview vid of Matt Smith as the doctor he looks like some kid running around pretending to play Dr.Who...
