mcj metroid Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Any particular reason why ye finally decided to make the good decision to get rid of the "megathreads" in general? I've been gone for a tad bit
Dyson Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Sad to hear about Tphi's departure, but out of curiosity, where is he off to work?
ReZourceman Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Has auto-merging double posts function been removed? Cos' Ellmeister just did a double in the Pokemafia thread.
Ashley Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 Sad to hear about Tphi's departure, but out of curiosity, where is he off to work? Eurogamer. Has auto-merging double posts function been removed? Cos' Ellmeister just did a double in the Pokemafia thread. It was lowered quite a while ago to less hours. After Dan was moaning... Its now dawning on me he moans a lot. Maybe he should be axed.
ReZourceman Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 For the record I only meant to post that once not 5/6 times. It said it hadn't posted. Thanks for the answer, thats good I think.
ReZourceman Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Has it been changed back? Can we change it forward, I liked it.
MoogleViper Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 How come members can't edit their own thread titles?
Supergrunch Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I think people used to change them to stupid things like "anyone posting in this thread is a wanker."
Ashley Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 They can within a few minutes of making the thread.
ReZourceman Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 They can within a few minutes of making the thread. I don't think we can.....
MoogleViper Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 I don't think we can..... Neither did I but I may be wrong. Do you know how many minutes it is?
Wesley Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 What the heck happened to Captain Falcon? Why are members profiles allowed to literally disappear?
ReZourceman Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 2 last I heard. Hmmm it would appear the rumours are true. And whats this about Captain Falcon's dissapapppeaerance?
Ashley Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 I've already answered that right above your post. And of course "the rumours" are true, I only speaketh the truth!
ReZourceman Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 The book's opening line "Who is John Galt?" becomes an expression of helplessness and despair at the current state of the novel's fictionalized world. Before finding the real John Galt, Dagny Taggart hears a number of legends of Galt. After eventually joining his cause, she learns that all of the stories have an element of truth to them. I don't know how this applies.
Ashley Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 Because it misses out two thirds (i.e. about 700) pages of the book. Go read Atlas Shrugged. Then you'll understand.
Wesley Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Captain Falcon is John Galt? You can't expect us to read a whole book. Also I just watched the entire Bourne trilogy yesterday, isn't that enough?
Ashley Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 I'm doing this for your own good! Captain Falcon left because he requested to. He gave no reason or rhyme and I did not ask for it.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Did ... did Ashley just give a direct, clear-cut answer? Huh. I must be dreaming.
