Revealed during today's Switch 2 Direct.

Seems to be the Switch 2's ARMS with how it's going to use the Mouse-Con!

FInally had a chance to catch up on the Treehouse Live video for this game, and...  It looks really fun! Has the potential to be the next ARMS I reckon.  Does look like it's gonna be light on content, but the tutorial does show potential for things like Wheelchair Racing that could add some variety and longevity to the game.

Unfortunately, I reckon that most people won't give it much of a look because the rather drab art style really drags this game's appeal down.  It really needs a more colourful and vibrant makeover if it wants to drive success.

On the matter of stupid puns, this game's name is absolutely awful! I am really struggling to remember it, and I'm the biggest fucking Nintendo nerd on this planet! I keep defaulting to calling it "Wheelchair Basketball", and that's really not good!

Though that being said, fucking mad props for making a wheelchair basketball game and making it look super cool! Nintendo of all companies making a game like this is fucking wild! :D

But yeah, give it a reskin and a new name; please.  Give this game a chance of success!

I hate the fascination with "X" in names (although at least it doesn't mean "cross"). It's just awkward to say. Even Drag & Drive sounds so much better than "Drag ecs Drive". Is the pronunciation of "X" in titles different in Japan?

I definitely agree about the colour. Considering they have mechanics for waving that you're open, the colours are so drab (and don't seem to be team related) that you'll have to be looking at the colour of the name above their head instead of the character model.

I've always read it as an implied connection, be it a crossover, an "and" or just a stylised way of splitting words up.

You don't pronounce the "x" in most cases I've come across (i.e. the anime and manga 'Hunter x Hunter' is pronounced as "Hunter Hunter")

But yeah, I agree – think they should've called it Drag 'n' Drive and left it at that, honestly ::shrug:

The fact that the X in the title is the most interesting thing to discuss tells me everything I need to know about this game. I don’t know why they ever greenlit this game, feels like a solution looking for a problem type thing.

It does feel like one of those launch games that will get forgotten about very quickly. Unless they make the multiplayer really engaging I can't see it doing well.
