Social Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 boy searching doesn't work does it? The revo controller will have add ons yea in the form of new extensions. Could be a steering wheel or gun or whatever
Shoe Posted February 10, 2006 Author Posted February 10, 2006 WELL THIS IS REVO-EUROPE. And whenver I googled I found a bunch of out of date crap. But can you use a GCN controller or something like that for it???That would be svveat
xanikseo Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 I really do hope Nintendo have officially announced that the controller will have GC-comparable addons (pardon me if they have already ).
Kurtle Squad Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 WELL THIS IS REVO-EUROPE.And whenver I googled I found a bunch of out of date crap. But can you use a GCN controller or something like that for it???That would be svveat Yes...It has cube controller ports for playing Cube games and such. I don't know how compatable they'll be with Revo games though.
Guest Stefkov Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 well they have a side of the rev for the controller ports and memory card ports. so you can use them, its backward compatibal so they would have them. f that answers your question in any way
Nintendork Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 one handed revolution controller with nunchuka add-on. existing hardware slots (prototype model layout will vary slightly but the ports will remain) gamecube shell (mockup) it has been confirmed there will be a wireless shell that houses the controller so we can play wirelessly with traditional games (such as racing games) more easy. hopefully this helps, if you notice on the standard revolution controller there is a clip on section, this can be removed.. and other add ons can be connected so we can expect other add ons. What can we expect? Perhaps a microphone, definitely dance mats.. and the dew from Miyamoto's beautiful mind. There really should be a FAQ sticky about the revolution/controller it's only going to get worse as we get more people hyped by the controller close to launch.
xanikseo Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 gamecube shell (mockup) it has been confirmed there will be a wireless shell that houses the controller so we can play wirelessly with traditional games (such as racing games) more easy. Phew I had a fealing it might not happen...
ShadowV7 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Wow talk about lack of news for some of you guys. All this is pretty old stuff
Charlie Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 gamecube shell (mockup) it has been confirmed there will be a wireless shell that houses the controller so we can play wirelessly with traditional games (such as racing games) more easy. Turn the controller onto its side. Tilt up and downwards. You have yourself a steering stick! Much better than any controller
ShadowV7 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Im looking forward to gun attachment.Bring back the the old duck hunt feelings
Kav Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Im looking forward to gun attachment.Bring back the the old duck hunt feelings I don't see any need at all to make a gun attachment, there's really no need for one!
ShadowV7 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 Your right there isn't much need but i'd quite like to have a shell of one to feel more in the game.Say a Resi Evil comes out and the charac uses a gun(obviously) it would make me feel like the main character more
Shoe Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 I'm just hoping for a normal Xbox360/PS3 ish controller. But that shell thingy looks sexy
mario_jr Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 (Hey I'm new, sorta (aka back))Does anyone know if theres gonna be more than one controller for the revolution? If there is I'm sure to buy it Are you sure you're not that "Gamcecube boy" that wrote everything in CAPS LOCK?
Shoe Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 Are you sure you're not that "Gamcecube boy" that wrote everything in CAPS LOCK? Wha? I'm that kid from cube-europe that caused trouble a few years back
Nintendork Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Turn the controller onto its side. Tilt up and downwards. You have yourself a steering stick! Much better than any controller I could never get used to that, f-zero is far too fast for that.. We'll see.
Charlie Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I don't see any need at all to make a gun attachment, there's really no need for one! Coolness value? Never played arcade games before? Imagine playing Resi Evil with a proper pistol, or a FPS online with a proper gun...
DiemetriX Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Coolness value? Never played arcade games before? Imagine playing Resi Evil with a proper pistol, or a FPS online with a proper gun... Mhm. If they ever make a Gun attachment.. i'll buy it
Retro_Link Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 IGN's mock-ups (posted again for the purpose of this thread!);
Shoe Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 hehe.. good old shoe. welcome back. Your kidding...
Shoe Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 All these gun and wheel things look cheesy...how would you feel if your waving around a plastic gun thingy in your room and someone walks in. *Prays*
DCK Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 Well you're waving around the remote anyway, so you might as well attach a gun. I suppose playing Eyetoy looks funnier.
