Hero-of-Time Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Monster Hunter trailer was great. That new spider boss looks awesome.
Julius Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 (edited) News on TGS panels and the presence of certain companies for next month's event have started trickling in... PlayStation Booth Quote Details about other playable titles and stage events will be announced at a later date. Through its participation at Tokyo Game Show 2024, SIE will strive to provide users with an engaging experience that only PlayStation and PS5 can offer, and to further expand the gaming market. PlayStation Presents: Death Stranding 2 – 29th September from 02:30 BST to 03:30 BST Capcom Oh, it's shaping up real good this will be PlayStation's first major presence at TGS since 2019! Seems like next month is for sure PS5 Pro time, but I'm just hoping they announce some 30th anniversary goodies Edited August 23 by Julius 1
Julius Posted August 28 Author Posted August 28 The next RGG Summit has been confirmed for 20th September from 11:00 to 14:00 BST: We're already expecting an announcement of the next game at TGS the following week, so maybe we should be anticipating the announcement of a title or two more as well? Assuming the next Yakuza or Judgment title gets announced at TGS (depending on if there will be a Final Judgment, obviously that IP has had a bunch of other issues surrounding it), something smaller like a Gaiden or, of course, that Yakuza Wars game could be a nice way to tide us over. Looking forward to seeing whatever they have in store for us next!
Hero-of-Time Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Quote Tune in on Tuesday, September 24th, 9pm (JST) for our online event "LEVEL5 VISION 2024 TO THE WORLD'S CHILDREN" on YouTube, featuring the latest information on LEVEL5 titles. We are planning to share updates on our games, including "INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road" and "FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time," as well as announce a brand new title. Hilarious. All of their games are delayed and stuck in development hell but let's announce a new game anyway. 2
Julius Posted September 5 Author Posted September 5 To commemorate the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, Ken Kutaragi will be speaking at TGS on Thursday 26th September. Love it. TGS this year is stacked and is shaping up to be the best since COVID, easily, but also seems to have much more in store than anything we've seen from TGS a long while before that, too. Am I getting hyped for TGS? 1
Dcubed Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Oh wow! Krazy Ken is back! Looking forward to some new quotable nonsense from him
Julius Posted September 5 Author Posted September 5 We already knew Level-5 were turning up at TGS, but it also seems like they might be bringing a new title along with them...or two? Hoo boy, wonder what those could be (and why they feel the need to announce more)... Time for a port of Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn perhaps?
Julius Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 Xbox have announced their presence at this year's TGS, with a showing set for 19:00 JST (that's 11:00 BST) on September 26th. Good lord is TGS stacked this year. Genuinely feels like it's shaping up to be the busiest week of gaming news in a good while – not that I'm complaining!
Julius Posted September 11 Author Posted September 11 (edited) The official TGS timetable has been released: And the lineups from Konami, Falcom, Level-5 and SEGA/Atlus have been announced: Think I'm going to have a scan through later today if what I'm tuning in for and make a little schedule of my own, but man, I've said it before, but this TGS is looking STACKED. Super excited for it! Edited September 11 by Julius 2

Julius Posted September 20 Author Posted September 20 (edited) Tom Warren is saying it'll be worth dropping in to watch Xbox's TGS show next week (11:00 BST on 26th): Look, unless it's Persona 6 (not expecting it), a remaster of one of those rare few Xbox JRPGs, or a Forza port announcement (what? The Japanese car scene is huge!), bleh. Swear they've said to tune in for their past showings at TGS and they've consistently had pretty awful showings at them. Edited September 20 by Julius
Julius Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 Sonic Central 2024 will premiere tomorrow at 09:00 PST tomorrow (that's 17:00 BST for any fellow Brits): Curious to see what they turn up with here.
Julius Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 And tomorrow is now suddenly stacked in terms of events: Level 5, Sonic and PlayStation all taking centre stage, so to speak. Should be a great week for gaming news and announcements

Julius Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 On today's TGS agenda (subtract 8 hours for BST equivalent): Curious to see what comes out of Xbox and Capcom, the biggest hitters of the day. Wonder if what was being teased for the Xbox event will be worth the wait?
Ike Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Falcom JDK band Special Stage event. Mostly “Trails of” songs this year.

Julius Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 (edited) Josef Fares is out here teasing his and Hazelight's next game and its title, and it's in this thread because it's almost certainly turning up at the TGAs: Day 1, whatever it is. I wasn't the hottest on It Takes Two but A Way Out was absolutely brilliant (still need to play Brothers). Edited October 17 by Julius

Quote According to our information, the new game from the Hazelight studio will be called "Split Fiction". The title has also been in development for at least 2 years. The first part of the game's title can thus give us an idea of the core of the game's operation. Thanks to this and the big clue present on the first post-it, we imagine that it is the way of the split screen to be able to play this game that will be totally redefined.
Dcubed Posted Tuesday at 11:47 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:47 AM I don’t have the slightest interest in Geoff’s Doritos Awards, but the fact that 1000xResist didn't even get a single nomination (let alone be a complete shoe-in for Best Narrative) perfectly highlights how much of a complete failure the event is at what it purports to be. The damn thing is nothing more than a big advertisement for Geoff’s cronies. Truly an insult to the industry as a whole, it deserves better. 1
