Saw Captain America yesterday. I’d say it’s one you can wait for streaming if you were undecided about seeing it right away.

I quite liked it, but it’s mid-tier MCU for me at best. I liked it more than Cap 1, but I really didn’t like the first as much as most people!

Somehow Ironheart has ended up being the piece that closes out Phase Five, after Thunderbolts*? Alrighty then:

Quote

Ironheart, Marvel Television's all-new series from executive producer Ryan Coogler, launches with a 3-episode premiere June 24 at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET.

It's a 6-episode show with the first 3 episodes dropping 24th June and the last 3 episodes dropping 1st July.

I still need to make time for Thunderbolts* / *** *** ********, was looking forward to it anyways but the response to it has been great. Seems like Marvel is finally starting to gain a bit of steam again ahead of Fantastic Four and the Avengers movies.

Thunderbolts is a great film, really well made and a great cast

I feel sorry for Ironheart, because theres been no publicity and now its three episode drop followed by three episode drop, its like they just expect it to be crap, or the racial backlash to be so strong people don't watch.

Thunderbolts was enjoyable enough but not great. It was a bit atypical in that brute force doesn't save the day but other than that, it was pretty standard Marvel. Worth a watch, though.
