Those first two GPs with mushrooms only were good fun. Then with items back on, there was a distinct lack of Christmas spirit in GP3.

Great games. Mushrooms only really does add a little extra to the races. Yeah if you get behind there may not be much you can do, but I find them fun.

The theme is tailor made to be a complete and utter nightmare to tackle with the above setup.

That said, the character setup above is optional, so you don't have to use it if you're too scared, but don't expect your wins to be satisfying in that case.
