Alternatively, you could use 'My Documents' or whatever the equivalent on Apple is. That is, if there is a 'My Documents' equivalent on Apple. I don't know. Posted May 11, 2008 When you log in windows has to load your profile. Your desktop items are included in that. You'd be better to stick a folder somewhere off your desktop profile and put a shortcut to it on your desktop (ie right click>new>shortcut). It is in effect the same thing other than the fact your stuff is stored off your desktop profile. And you don't have to move your stuff out periodically.
