Hero-of-Time Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 YES! Time to double dip! Shining in the Darkness and Shining Force 1 and 2 in handheld form. 3
S.C.G Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Well... I would have waited Sega, but you took Ages so... I bought it on the PS4. But what am I talking about? Of course I'm going to buy this again on the Switch! Phantasy Star IV in portable form? Yes please!
Ike Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Why did they do this when they have the Ages line? I mean sure it's cheaper, but still. 1

Maybe the Ages line will be for the more obscure/popular titles which they can put a new spin on or that they know they can sell seperately like Sonic 3 & Knuckles... I'm looking forward to both sets of games either way.
Nintendo Fan Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Between this and the NES games, Nostalgia overload. Best thing about it is they're all on the same platform.
Dcubed Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 (edited) This is such a weird release. Why bother releasing this when they’ve got the SEGA AGES line just around the corner? I bet it’s a matter of the EU branch (who made the Steam/PS4/Xbone collection along with D3) not properly communicating with the Japanese side. Talk about cannibalising your own sales! At least we have a choice of quality or quantity now I suppose! Might be worth getting for the games that don’t get the SEGA AGES treatment. Edited September 18, 2018 by Dcubed
Grazza Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 Yes, this is quite surprising, but I'm hoping it means Sega Ages has an absolute focus on the arcade versions. With Golden Axe, that means better graphics vs. extra levels and a thong! 2
Hero-of-Time Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 Looks like this is being delisted across all platforms. It's very strange that this is being took off everything. I mean, Sega owns all of the stuff, right? It can't be a licencing issue.
Dcubed Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Guess that means they’re doing a new collection soon then.
