That was fantastic teamwork! Confusion is one annoying status effect though!

Will be playing this tomorrow after Mario Kart, and maybe before as well. Hopefully more people will have it downloaded by then.

I've missed N-Europe hunts. The full game can't come soon enough. (Just so I can tell who has joined)

Loved playing through this demo. Ooooh ive missed Monster Hunter.

On the fence about getting it though. I work stupid long hours and also trying to juggle a relationship with gaming aswell meaning that I don't have a lot of time.

It could mean that im just left behind. I hate gaming on randoms and despise playing the single player.

EDIT: Blade has joined. You coming @S\.C\.G or are you done for the night?

Ah yeah, didn't see this... I was absorbed in trying out the other hunts solo, only just finished playing. :D

Such an excellent demo, will likely play it more online tomorrow though. :)

Wow, the intro movie on this is stunning! :o

Taken on the first monster a few times now, first as the prowler, which didn't go well at all. :woops: Yeah, I'm guessing the fact that you have unlimited stamina, and can immediately revive when playing as a cat had to be balanced by making their attacks weaker. :hmm:

I then jumped into the same hunt with a regular hunter (using my MH weapon of choice, the hammer) and completely destroyed the thing!

Gave it another go as the cat afterwards though, and definitely did better than the first time.

I'm sure it'll still be a lot of fun to play as the prowler, especially online and in more of a support role. :)

Hopefully there will be some stupidly overpowered gear/weapons available for it too.

Right, what time will peeps be hunting? I'm keen to play the demo more.
I'll be up for some hunts after MK tonight, if you don't mind hunting alongside a useless cat. :heh:

The Prowler definitely works better when it's backing up some hunters. On it's own, it's a bit rubbish.

I can't stop playing the demo. :D For me, this is easily the best thing to come out of what Nintendo showed at E3.

Ive dabbled with a few of the different stances. Some are great but others don't really work.

As a GS/LS user, the aerial type isn't that great for these. When using a LS you lose the ability to do your combo, so there is a payoff for being able to jump around the area. I'm not sure the payoff is worth it.

I love the evasion move. I tend to hold them back for when a beast does a roar. Narga will obliviously stun you but using the evade move I can just fly through the roar and get a few cheeky hits in. :)
