This deviant is the same one who stomps on the heads of Goombas and uses turtle shells against the innocent inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom. Actually, why does Mario hit EVERY creature that he sees? Surely he's the villain of the piece? I reckon that secretly Peach is married to Bower and Mario is the other man. He has delusions of morality and so "believes" that Peach wants to be rescued, when in reality she's happy the way she is. (hence why she always seems to be kidnapped...she's just at home baking cakes). Mario also takes various forms of drugs (such as these mushrooms) which send him on a trip, believing that he is bigger and stronger than he appears to be. Mario should be in jail.
