Hogge Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 The Nintendo "This has absolutely nothing in common with the Wii" On a more serious note: the "Nintendo Core" First of all, it'd say straight in the name that it's aimed at core gamers, which core gamers will understand, while casuals won't, and hence won't be scared off. It sounds cool and technological, and it could be the core of your home so to speak.

Saying it's aimed at "core gamers" then releasing only "casual" games at launch would probably annoy a fair few people.
Jonnas Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Not to mention "Core" gamers don't need a name to understand what they're getting with the console.

The-chosen-one Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 i am happy with the name wii u, but it could also as already mentioned above, Super wii, or super nintendo U (lol) or Ultimate Wii 2. but wii U is easy to remember
Rummy Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) Realyl folks, Wii 2? Cmon! That's as basic as sony material! I personally liked the idea Striim(pronounced stream), but the Super Wii(Sweee! for short, exclamation mark compulsory) would be good too. Quite like Zech's idea of the NintendoU/NU too.
