The Bard Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Oh my god, it's been a long time since I played Alundra.
Dcubed Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Arc the LadCool Boarders 2 FINAL FANTASY VII Hot Shots Golf 2 Jet Moto Syphon Filter Tomb Raider Twisted Metal 2 Wild Arms That's my list, I've been buying all my PS1 game on my US account (for 60hz support of course) Doesn't matter anyway since this update is rendered completely useless for me thanks to the fact that my Vita refuses to connect to my PS3 for content transfers and that they now force you to format your memory card when you switch accounts (you can't choose not to format anymore ) So now I have to choose between Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (and my other games) and a fraction of my PS1 collection... Thanks for nothing Sony!
The Bard Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I just downloaded the update, but for some reason, there's no PSone games tab in the PSN Store.
Cube Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 I just downloaded the update, but for some reason, there's no PSone games tab in the PSN Store. The store updates are Wednesday. You can transfer them from the PS3.
S.C.G Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Am I right in thinking that because most of these titles were already available on the PSN - but only playable on PS3/PSP - that if you've already downloaded any of them previously then you will now be able to just transfer them to your vita and play them? Or are these Vita only conversions that we need to pay extra for? For example... I already have Kula World - bought it years ago - I don't need to buy it again surely? If this costs extra for the games I've already bought them I'm out but if not then... HELLS YEAH!
The Bard Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Another thing I really hope they can do is bring out previously NTSC exclusive games such as Chrono Cross, overseas, very much in the way Nintendo brought out Chrono Trigger on the Virtual Console over here. Of course, there may be a ratings problem that Chrono Trigger was able to circumvent because it was released on the PSone and the DS, whereas Chrono Cross has never been released in any form over here.
Cube Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 They've released a few other-region games over here on PSOne Classics.
Daft Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Time to give FFVII another go. I've never made it past the first half hour.
Hero-of-Time Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 How mucha re PSone games?! They vary. The FF games are £7.99 while most other are a fiver. You can pick some up when they are on offer though. Just the other week MGS was £4 and the Tomb Raider and Soul Reaver games were £1.99. Some of these may be still on the store as I don't know when the Summer Sale ends.
The Bard Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Time to give FFVII another go. I've never made it past the first half hour. It's a great game, just switch off whenever story exposition is happening. The pre-rendered, cyberpunk aesthetic and the music alone are enough to justify the game's existence.
