Posted October 16, 2011 I think the design brief was "Promote the MK Wheel where possible". I like to think the brief was "We all know a recession is on. Even though the game is called Mario Kart, we only have the budget for either Mario or the Kart on the cover." followed by a brain storming session huddled around a KFC bargain bucket focusing on what would look more ridiculous, a kart driving itself or Mario hovering.
