Tales Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Well, sense would say I use a sword, maybe some magic? It doesn't show in the write up. It's a positive power anyway, assuming I target the correct person.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I've never been much for lynching inactives, but I do admit it seems likely he could be an inactive mafia. If nothing else comes up, I'll be willing to vote for him.
Nintendohnut Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Well let's go through what we know so far - please add to this as I'm at work and am working from memory, which is shit: Blue-eyed woman - Potentially Dannyboy? Blocky man Green-wearing woman Armoured Man 1 - Cube? Armoured Man 2 - Tales? Blue Character Flexible Man - Arbitor Ex-army warrior Engineer - Yvonne Nintendohnut's character (unrevealed/hasn't appeared in write-ups so far) Added: Cooking Momma - Smeagol - CLAIMS NEUTRAL - we don't know his win condition?
Cube Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Tales is the blocky man and I'm the green-wearing woman. Sorry, Esiquiel is the blocky man. He's a protector who has only protected himself.
Cube Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 dyson is the blocky man. Dyson's in this game? I thought Ese claimed to be the self-protector/blocky man?
Esequiel Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 No I told you I was Marcus Fenix I can only assume I'm one of the armoured men.
Cube Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 No I told you I was Marcus Fenix I can only assume I'm one of the armoured men. I think I assumed that you were lying about that and based your character on your "protecting yourself" (which only matched Minecraft guy in the write-up).
Esequiel Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Oh right lol No I really am Marcus Fenix. I have a feeling that tales is mafia, it's just a hunch perhaps because of the lack of movement in the game. Do we really have nothing to go on?
Nintendohnut Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 What was your power again, Esequiel? And what have your targets been recently? Updated list: Blue-eyed woman - Potentially Dannyboy? Blocky man - Dyson Green-wearing woman - Cube Armoured Man 1 - Esequiel? Armoured Man 2 - Tales? Blue Character Flexible Man - Arbitor Ex-army warrior Engineer - Yvonne Nintendohnut's character (unrevealed/hasn't appeared in write-ups so far) Cooking Momma - Smeagol - CLAIMS NEUTRAL - we don't know his win condition? Remaining players: Cube Dannyboy-the-Dane Dazz Dyson Esequiel Nintendohnut Shorty Sméagol Tales The_Arbitor Yvonne Anyone mind if I edit that for a colour-fail? If people/Maddog minds I won't but it looks shit.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (I wouldn't mind if you edited it, personally.) While I could be the blue-eyed woman, her actions don't seem to match up with mine, so I don't think it's me.
Tales Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I think when it says "men" instead of "man" it means that one player is controlling a set of characters, like the Elite Beat Agents.
Cube Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 (I wouldn't mind if you edited it, personally.) While I could be the blue-eyed woman, her actions don't seem to match up with mine, so I don't think it's me. As you said you were a Nintendo character...Peach? Daisy? Samus? Zelda?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Samus. She could very well be described as a blue-eyed woman, but the actions don't fit.
Shorty Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 "Flexible Man - Arbitor" What is this? Who is Arbitor? Oh of course, Arbitor as in the player, I thought we were identifying him as a video game character ie the Arbiter from Halo
Nintendohnut Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Indeed. So who are you Shorty? Best to get all the role-claims out the way so we have the best chance.
Sméagol Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 My win condition is to make a apple pie using the best recipe.. Which I don’t know what that is. I gather ingredients and recipes from other people.
Shorty Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I am the blue character :3 How did we learn Arbitor was the flexible man? I got information in the night that somebody else fits that description.
Tales Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Mafia probably has it figured out and maybe it helps Nintendohnut analysis, so I'll tell. I'm the blue eyed young woman as esequiel said, Lightning from FF13, and as you can see by the write ups, I protect. I protected The Peeps on night 3 when no one died, that's why I asked if anyone knew he targeted him. I know Arbitor is the fleksible man because I have targeted him before so I picked it up from the write up, maybe it was night 1.
Nintendohnut Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Blue-eyed woman - Tales - Lightning from FFXIII (pretty much confirmed.... by me) Blocky man - Dyson - Minecraft guy? Green-wearing woman - Cube Armoured Man 1 - Esequiel - Marcus Fenix? Blue Character - Shorty - Sonic Flexible Man - Arbitor - UKNOWN Ex-army warrior - must be Dazz Engineer - Yvonne - Otacon from Metal Gear Nintendohnut's character (unrevealed/hasn't appeared in write-ups so far) Cooking Momma - Smeagol - CLAIMS NEUTRAL Either someone is lying about their character or we just have to give up on the whole 'lets assume evil game characters are evil in the game' Can anyone think of another 'Engineer' from Metal Gear? I don't know the series very well but Yvonne's power is just waaaaay too convenient. Also not sure who Dazz is, or who Arbitor could be. I know that I should reveal myself but at this point it's surely pretty obvious that I'm a townie and there's little point in knowing my character as I know for a fact that I haven't been in the write-ups so far. Looking through the thread now for things I've missed. Night 4 is over The armoured men marched toward their target. They quickly realised the blue eyed young woman was well protected, so they left. The armoured MEN? Looks like someone is lying. And seeing as the armoured men left when they saw their target was protected, it's likely they weren't doing anything good. Not sure if this is Esequiel - there is a separate mention of an armoured man on a few nights. Night 3 is over The pilot was out trying to complete his task before he was suddenly escorted elsewhere by a white coated character, the pilot then came across a green character. The blue eyed young woman kept watch over the pilot. The green character followed the ex-army warrior during the night. The armoured man and ash-white character were dragged by a ex-bandit to a remote location before they turned on each other. The wolf sniffed around abit before returning home. The computer was left waiting all night for nothing. The blocky man again dug himself a hole. The suited men cheered up the blue character. The ex-army warrior flew around for a while. Two things here: First of all, we totally forgot about the computer. Second of all, the Ex-Army Warrior (Dazz?) can fly apparently. --------------- So... basically there must be a write-up alterer somewhere around as there are too many characters in the write-ups. They slipped up when they mentioned jayseven's name on night 4, but at least it's alerted us to the presence of it. As for the computer... someone must be lying. Anyone else want to try and help me out here? :p
Cube Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Could ex-army warrior be a really strange way of describing Samus?
Nintendohnut Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Could ex-army warrior be a really strange way of describing Samus? I actually think you're absolutely right. In fact, the night I targeted him he landed a ship. Can't believe I forgot that. Which means we have Dazz. And he hasn't claimed yet. We should also look at others. Not everything adds up here. There must be at least one more mafia member after the next one, so someone must be lying. The good thing is that if we lynch Dazz and we're wrong, we'll find out who he actually is, and then we can work out who he was in the write-ups and work out who is lying. Still, seeing as this isn't solid evidence, we should give him a chance to speak. We don't have long left of today, though. I would suggest that Smeagol could very well steal the win, by the way. Worth remembering.
