Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I still don't think Cougar Town deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Community.
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I've been watching Cougar Town lately and it's pretty good. Once you get past the first five or so episodes and it becomes a whole new show.
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Says the guy who likes New Girl! I think Cougar Town is watchable, but out of the sitcoms I still watch, it's near the bottom. Have you watched Archer yet? Because that's awesome.
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 New Girl is amazing! It's the longest will-they/won't-they ever. Archer is awesome too, one of the best comedies on tv at the moment.
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 (edited) New Girl is amazing! It's the longest will-they/won't-they ever. Clearly you've never watched Friends! I'm glad to hear you've finally watched Archer. > Archer > > > > > > > > Cougar Town Edited February 16, 2013 by Magnus
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Finally? I've been watching from Season 1 :p
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 You have? But I remember discussing the show with you and you hadn't watched it then. Either I'm losing my mind or you have an evil twin. I should get his number.
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Oh well maybe all of season 1 was out now that I think of it. I have definitely been watching it for a while though :p Anyway, just watched episode 2 of community and it is still good. I like how they're comfortable with moving away from the college. I'd like to see the show live beyond their graduation or whatever, as long as it stays watchable of course.
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I wanted more of a horror movie/haunted house vibe. The episode didn't do as much with that as I expected. It felt really short too, for some reason. It was decent, though. There were some pretty funny lines. :p
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 The zombie halloween episode from season 1 (wasn't it?) is still one of the best episodes of the whole show.
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 That was season 2, but yeah, that was a great episode. That's what I expected from this episode when they went to the mansion!
Ashley Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 New Girl is amazing! It's the longest will-they/won't-they ever.
The Peeps Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Yeah now that you mention it, it's probably the shortest ever :p
Magnus Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Don't worry, they'll probably break up, then get back together, then break up again and then get back together in the series finale.
Beast Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 I thought the episode was pretty funny. Not the best one but still, good anyway. More Shirley and Pierce please!
Coolness Bears Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I can't bring myself to watch past episode 1 of the new season. It just dragged so much.
Magnus Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 If you can watch The Simpsons, you can watch Community.
Coolness Bears Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 At this point Cougar Town IS better. (Oh I went there. :p)
Ashley Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Cougar Town is pretty good. They made a red wine water fountain, they deserve more credit than they get.
Coolness Bears Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Yes I really enjoy Cougar Town it's like a warm motherly hug.
Magnus Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 (edited) Haha, the MacGuffin Neurological Institute. Also: Star Fox shirt! Edited March 17, 2013 by Magnus
Magnus Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 "You were out there somewhere and you weren't looking for me?" What an awkward episode for Chevy Chase to not appear in.
