Temporarily attached the wings on.

I don't think this will look that good until it's been udnercoated at least. There's so much green stuff used/filed.

With wings it looks good i think it should be in Red and black.

Afraid I must disappoint. I've gone with the original colour scheme. Plus redone the head as it just looked silly.

It only took me since July to actually make one! But now I have the colour scheme down it should be a lot easier :D The lore behind my chapter is thus;

At the start of the Horus heresy the 3rd founding chapter were sent by the emperor of mankind to the void where he knew the heretics would eventually end up. To shield them and prevent their whereabouts forms on being discovered there entire history was expunged from records, the only person who knew they had not joined Horus was the emperor.

After 10000 years with the war seemingly over this chapter carefully scoured the void saving the souls of the tainted chaos warriors and killing all who opposed them in the name of he emperor. They still have psychic contact with the emporor who renamed their chapter the Un-Vanquished in honour of there feats in battle. Now in the 41st millennium the emporor has informed them of his impending death and has recalled them to the galaxy they have been so desperately trying to defend.

Does anyone still follow Warhammer stuff? With Space Marine 2 out now it's got me interested in 40k again. I'm thinking about picking up some of the books (I'm told the Eisenborn trilogy is the best place to start) and maybe even trying my hand at painting some minatures again despite the last time being a pretty big failure.

Amazing work, @EEVILMURRAY.

I used to work with a lad who was well into the 40k universe. He loved the lore of it all and some of the pieces he painted and showed me were amazing. He used to sell some of them online and take requests/orders for custom pieces.

I've not played or painted since my teen years. Used to love picking up the latest issue of White Dwarf and looking at all the latest sets and paint jobs.
