EEVILMURRAY Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Sounds like a nice variation on the Sons of Medusa Chapter. Go for it!
Iun Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I havnt even looked yet! Last time I just did my own thing :p they ended up lime green with red and blue shoulder/knee pads and one red eye and one blue eye :p Reverend Order of the Iron Tits!
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 This looks well dodgy in the modelling stage, but here is what Charizard is looking like at the moment.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 It's coming along slowly... Temporarily attached the wings on. I don't think this will look that good until it's been udnercoated at least. There's so much green stuff used/filed.
Fifty Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 With wings it looks good i think it should be in Red and black.
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 With wings it looks good i think it should be in Red and black. Afraid I must disappoint. I've gone with the original colour scheme. Plus redone the head as it just looked silly.
Esequiel Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 It only took me since July to actually make one! But now I have the colour scheme down it should be a lot easier The lore behind my chapter is thus; At the start of the Horus heresy the 3rd founding chapter were sent by the emperor of mankind to the void where he knew the heretics would eventually end up. To shield them and prevent their whereabouts forms on being discovered there entire history was expunged from records, the only person who knew they had not joined Horus was the emperor. After 10000 years with the war seemingly over this chapter carefully scoured the void saving the souls of the tainted chaos warriors and killing all who opposed them in the name of he emperor. They still have psychic contact with the emporor who renamed their chapter the Un-Vanquished in honour of there feats in battle. Now in the 41st millennium the emporor has informed them of his impending death and has recalled them to the galaxy they have been so desperately trying to defend.
EEVILMURRAY Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Not a bad scheme, I really should carry on with my Pokémon daemons. That and the Dreadfleet ships.
Esequiel Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Looking at the pictures I think il be changing the blue to silver and the silver to gold. And try to make the green a shade lighter :p
Happenstance Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Does anyone still follow Warhammer stuff? With Space Marine 2 out now it's got me interested in 40k again. I'm thinking about picking up some of the books (I'm told the Eisenborn trilogy is the best place to start) and maybe even trying my hand at painting some minatures again despite the last time being a pretty big failure.
EEVILMURRAY Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I'm still into the Warhammers, playing more Age of Sigmar nowadays. some more of my recent work... 2
Hero-of-Time Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Amazing work, @EEVILMURRAY. I used to work with a lad who was well into the 40k universe. He loved the lore of it all and some of the pieces he painted and showed me were amazing. He used to sell some of them online and take requests/orders for custom pieces. I've not played or painted since my teen years. Used to love picking up the latest issue of White Dwarf and looking at all the latest sets and paint jobs. 1
Happenstance Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I'd love to be able to paint the figures like that, just don't have the patience (or skill) 1
