Cube Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 17. I believe there were some humans in the terrible Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) 21. Dead Rising 2
Magnus Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 17. I believe there were some humans in the terrible Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) That's not a bad guess, but I'm afraid all of the characters in this game are humans (to some extent, anyway). 21. Dead Rising 2 Nope. This is the third game in a series.
Magnus Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 024 Beyond Good & Evil Yes! Congratulations on guessing one of my screenshots. :p
Jonnas Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Gonna take a few wild guesses. 14. Clayfighters 63 1/2 17. Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon (or failing that, BS: The Angel of Death) 21. Fallout 3 24. Blinx the Time Sweeper EDIT: Beyond Good and Evil was my second choice, actually. I just felt Blinx was more obscure.
Magnus Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 EDIT: Beyond Good and Evil was my second choice, actually. I just felt Blinx was more obscure. Calling it "critically acclaimed" might be pushing it a bit, though. Sorry, none of your guesses are correct.
nekunando Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 (edited) Beyond Good and Evil was my second choice, actually. I just felt Blinx was more obscure. Wow.. Blinx: The Time Sweeper was almost my guess too And Magnus, I'm thankful I guessed one too The last couple of rounds have been horrible.. simply horrible I'll have another guess, though.. 017 Devil May Cry 2 Edited February 12, 2011 by nekunando
Magnus Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 I'll have another guess, though.. 017 Devil May Cry 2 No, this series has been around longer than the Devil May Cry series, getting its start in the mid-nineties.
Jonnas Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 No, this series has been around longer than the Devil May Cry series, getting its start in the mid-nineties. Well, that rules out Monkey Island and Carmen Sandiego... I'll try to think of something...
Magnus Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) Is 14 Anachronox? Yes. Yes, it is. I was wondering when someone was going to get it, seeing as how Wikipedia only has about eight games listed as using the Quake II engine. Some more hints: 016: Nein. Nein. Get it? 017: This game was so bad that the developer was kicked off the series. 019: Think one of the most popular and well-known comic strips. 020: This will probably give it away, but 'four' is part of the title. 022: The developer has sadly moved on to making gray horror games. Magnus Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 017. Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Yes. I knew someone would get it with that hint.
Jonnas Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 20. Ufouria: The Saga (though the clue made it really easy...) Also, I'm guessing that 19 is a Garfield game?
Magnus Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 20. Ufouria: The Saga (though the clue made it really easy...) Yeah, it did... But hey - free point! Also, I'm guessing that 19 is a Garfield game? Perhaps... Here's the full screenshot to make it easier to guess which Garfield game it is:
Jonnas Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 19. Garfield: The Search for Pookie I don't know how could any of us find out that one without the full screenshot. Where did you get that screenshot?
Magnus Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) 19. Garfield: The Search for Pookie I don't know how could any of us find out that one without the full screenshot. Where did you get that screenshot? I may have taken it myself. But yes, you're correct. Final (?) hints: 016: I'm really disappointed that no one's been able to get this one, but seeing as how this game - which was recently translated and released in the US - is unlikely to ever be released in PAL territories, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. 022: This is an FPS from a developer that mainly makes FPS games. These days they're mostly supposed to be scary (assuming you find little girls and hobos scary), but this game is the complete opposite of their current ones. Edited February 15, 2011 by Magnus
Magnus Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) No one Lives Forever 2?? It's the first game, but the character is in both games (Magnus Armstrong, hence why I said he had an awesome name), so close enough. That just leaves the last game, which clearly no one here has played. To sum up: 016: *Puts on German hat* Nein, you will get no hints for this screenshot. 016: Nein. Nein. Get it? 016: I'm really disappointed that no one's been able to get this one, but seeing as how this game - which was recently translated and released in the US - is unlikely to ever be released in PAL territories, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Also, it's a visual novel and the girl in the screenshot is one of the main characters. Edited February 15, 2011 by Magnus
Magnus Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 It's a DS game about nine people who are trapped on a sinking ship. Someone please guess it so I can stop feeling guilty about holding up the game.
