Retro_Link Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I think trials maybe stop after you've played for an hour. It was really annoying on the PSN store, I had to download the trial to 'unlock' the full game and demo on there! Did you find the controls/movement a bit strange to begin with? Also things like run being on a seperate button instead of the analogue stick. And combat seems to be a bit like that in Assassins Creed, where by they line up more to fight you? Instead of being able to switch back and forth with a target lock.
Tales Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 It has always been like that with downloadable games? The full game is just a key to unlock the trial version. It's been a while so I can't remember the how the movements works exactly, but I don't think it bothered me. As for the combat, well, with the stick you can choose who to attack mid combo. I used to do that in attempts to stun an enemy before he attacks, when several of them were surrounding me at the same time. Should work pretty fluently. I think you have one battle with at least three enemies at a time on the island, so you should try it out.
Retro_Link Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Ah yeah the trial/demo runs out when your hovercraft breaks down upon leaving the island and you get towed to the workshop. What were everyones impressions of the full HD version of the game on XBLA/PSN?
Magnus Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 That it was as good as it was back when we all first played it nearly a decade ago? :p This game is part of the Halloween Sale, so now would be the time to get it.
Cube Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 It's a brilliant game. One of my favourite off XBLA/PSN.
flameboy Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I still have this sat on PS3 to start. I did play the original mind.
Jimbob Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I stopped playing it, i am determined to get back into it over the weekend
