They could have, if they had played the game. It felt as though everyone was waiting for someone else to do the thinking and detective work so that they didn't have to. Tbh, I had a much better plan for this game, I wanted to character investigate the mafia and back them up if they made false roleclaims, but unfortunately the redirector threw me, and nobody was roleclaiming. It was a bit of a weak game because, as mentioned, people seemed scared to do much. I didn't want to come forward with my investigative power too soon though, for fear of dying. It's not surprising that people didn't want to act on hunches and vague leads, because that is usually a bad strategy. I'm not saying this is bad, by the way. This type of game relies more on predictability than the other type. The more unpredictable the roles, the harder it is for the town to figure out lies.
