chairdriver Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I think I'm going to be sick everywhere.
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I think I'm going to be sick everywhere. Film it. Might be good for the guitar solo.
Beast Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 I'll do a bit then. What would you like to do?
Diageo Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 What would you like to do? I don't know, put me in anywhere. Ville's gotta get in on this. Why is that?
Beast Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 Diageo, do you mind being part of the quartet with ReZ? (Basically, you'll be in all the lines coloured red)
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Why is that? He is a Rock Guitar God in a Finnish Man's Body. For the sake of humanity and your ears, I won't be singing in this. I once did a duet with a lady where we sang Savage Garden's Truely Madly Deeply. I drowned her out completely. Nobody could hear her. My voice isn't made for singing. I wanna sing, though.

To quote a beloved member on here: C'maaan! Dooo eeet! Heck, you did hear the Band Aid some of us did, right? It's not like we're X Factor material.

Eenuh Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Yeah, if you want your ears and your hearing abilities to survive, it would be best if Jim didn't sing in this. =P Maybe if you have a guitar solo let him do that yes, but no singing. No.

With the power of the computer's power, we can lower your voice.
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 With the power of the computer's power, we can lower your voice. It wasn't to do with loudness. Not completely anyway. Its more that...it sounded a bit too deep. The tone was all wrong. Unless that can be sorted? Maybe if there's a part where you need somebody to hum. I can do that.
Diageo Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 You can get auto-tuned I guess. Sound a bit like Kanye West.
Beast Posted September 15, 2010 Author Posted September 15, 2010 Ville's gotta get in on this. I'll message him and see if he wants to do the guitar solo in the middle of the song. Good idea ReZ! I drowned her out completely. Nobody could hear her. My voice isn't made for singing. I wanna sing, though. Then sing, Glee club isn't about your voice, it's about expressing who...uh...wait...yeah, if you wanna sing like a bad-ass rockstar then do it! :p After all, it's just for fun. It's not like I'm gonna go to Simon Cowell or something. I sound dreadful but I'm totally gonna do it because I enjoy singing. You don't have to do entire verses, just pick a line or two if you want or be part of a quartet or something.
Diageo Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Diageo, do you mind being part of the quartet with ReZ? (Basically, you'll be in all the lines coloured red) I'll do whatever.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Note that the instrumental version that will be used is just a tiny bit faster than the original version, so be sure to record your voices over the instrumental version so it fits. Right, here is my part. I apologize for the rhythmic tapping noise that starts to occur when I do the "Mama, oooh" part - my audio equipment is not the best. Should I send the clip directly to your email address, Dazz? And if so, could I have your email adress?
Jimbob Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I've fixed up some better video recording stuff (aka managed to get my Creative Web-cam/Video cam to do it's proper job). Basically, i plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and it goes smooth. Better sound quality as well, so no more phone-recording. Should have my piece up in the next 24 hours.
ReZourceman Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 If y'all wanna be amazing can you add just some random clips at the end, like you playing air instruments, looking at the camera. Whatever I can do for the video that can fill in on bits with no vocals and no specific yeah....please. Thanks.

Oh, and since I remember your earlier efforts with music editing: Please, for the love of all things dairy, sync the audio properly.

I will be, however I'm not sure what you're talking about....Pass Out?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I will be, however I'm not sure what you're talking about....Pass Out? It's just that the few times you've attempted to mix some beatboxing or something, your timing of the beat and syncing of the audiovisual hasn't been entirely accurate.
ReZourceman Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Yeah I know what you're saying, but wasn't sure which video you were on about. The only one I can think of is "Pass Out" in CR. But you can lay your fears to rest, this'll be 100gmack.

EEVILMURRAY Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 There was also the DVD "music" and the god awful "aychichikoree whatever" thing.
