Posted March 29, 2010 Even the T In The Park line up is better than that :X
Posted March 29, 2010 T in the Park does have an awesome lineup. Would love a fest that combined acts from both fests, but I'm so excited for Arcade Fire and many more.
Posted March 29, 2010 Better line-up than expected, I really didn't think they could pull it out of the bag after seeing the Download and Glasto line-ups. Now the eternal struggle of getting tickets!
Posted March 29, 2010 None except the one I posted before that isn't really working X_X

Posted March 29, 2010 Loving the Reading/Leeds lineup. Two of my favourite bands reformed!!! (Libertines and Blink 182). However, I'm already going to Latitude this year so can't really afford to do another one. I did try and get tickets for saturday for the libs but every website seems uncapable of handling any sort of bandwidth. I'll just wait for their smaller intimate gigs somewhere like Rhythm Factory I hope. Plus not sure I can handle Reading anymore, 90,000 odd indie kids. Much prefer my little chilled out Latitude festival of 25,000 people.
Posted March 29, 2010 Thats how festivals are these days, just the 'in' thing to do in the summer. It no longer matters who's playing or why. Partly, but also you can be pretty sure that in a festival the magnititude of Reading there'll be enough bands to warrent buying a ticket anyway, even if the headliners ain't great. That said, nearly very disappointed with the lineup. Asked my friend to buy me a ticket as I was in London at a gig when the lineup / tickets went up earlier. Sat in Nandos watching the facebook kids status updates roll in on phonefacebook. 'OMG BLINK, BILLY TALENT, PARAMORE, PENDULUM, SHIKARI, DIZZEE, YOU ME AT SIX <3' ect Got a text from my friend telling me she'd got us tickets. EEeeeehhh £180, worth it...? Thankfully someone linked me to the poster. So much better. Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem(!!!), Phoenix, Delphic, Big Pink, Yeasayer, Foals, Biffy, Foals, Band of Horses, Modest Mouse, Gogo Bordello and Klaxons? Thats more fucking like it. And the Libertines should be interesting, and at the very least bring out the 15 year old in me.
Posted March 29, 2010 Well I was trying for two and a half hours and didn't manage to get ticktets. See Tickets can suck my balls. I have to hope that some of my friends have some spares, I really don't think I'll be able to afford buying from a tout.

Posted March 30, 2010 I'm tempted to get a single day ticket. If they've still got them for Sunday when I get paid next week I think it'll be a done deal.
Posted March 30, 2010 T in the Park lineup is shit. Plus for eminem, but big fucking woo for Kasabian. I'd be tempted to get a ticket just to see Blink.

I decided to check out the lineup of t in the park. Then I saw so many shit bands/groups/musicians above 30 Seconds to Mars, /sadface.
Posted March 30, 2010 T in the Park is pop shit. But it has Muse and a couple other decent bands. Reading these days is pop-rock shit. But it has a couple decent bands and no big redeemer.
Posted June 8, 2010 Reviving this as suggested in another thread, because I am off to Hellfest next week! I worked out the timetable (before changes were made:nono:) to watch: Otargos, Urgehal, Necrophagist, Kampfar, Secrets of the Moon, Ihsahn, Hypocrisy, Nachmystium, Watain, Ulver, The Devil's Blood, Marduk, Anvil, Ratt, Airbourne, Nevermore, Slash, Dark Funeral, Candlemass, Twisted Sister, Immortal, Alice Cooper, Carcass, General Surgery, Sabaton, Eluveitie, Decapitated, Ensiferum, Behemoth, Saxon, Devin Townsend Project, Suffocation, Nile, Kiss, and maybe a few more inbetween. Also going to Wacken but the timetable is even worse for clashes than it was last year! Planning on going to Bloodstock too.
Posted June 8, 2010 Hellfest sounds pretty rad for some extreme metal brootality, I would kill to see Ihsahn, but I'm gonna see him in a couple months time at Camden anyway. Anyone going to Download? If so, I may see you there
Posted June 8, 2010 I'm off tomorrow, think I'm in blue camp, guys are going early. I am very excited, I may also be very drunk, so just look for a tall girl, blue hair and possibly stealing trilbys...like last year.
Posted June 9, 2010 Reading this year is turning out to be pretty fucking wicked. LCD, Miike Snow, Phoenix, Big Pink, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Yeasayer, Biffy Cyro, Health, Four Tet, Streetlight Manifesto, Band of Horses, Crystal Castles... win. Also going to Green Man - Flaming Lips, Beirut, Joanna Newsom, Darwin Deez, Fuck Buttons, Wild Beasts, Girls, should be good Want to go to End of the Road fest too - Modest Mouse, Yo la Tengo, Wilco, Iron & Wine, New Pornographers, Caribou, Antlers but noone will come with! Posted June 9, 2010 Thats thing that I don't get about these big Leeds/Reading and Download and UK fests like that. I will see more bands I like at 1 festival than you appear to be at 3.
