Good reports Haden. Liking the double-headers coming together, although mine won't make good reading (for me at least).

Just had to point this out:

Happenstance 3-0 Dysonism F.C

...

Turned on the Style Award: Dysonism F.C, this was the old Dysonism utterly devestating and stylish.

Did Dyson's team used to lose in style regularly :p

Thanks amended! It was originally for me btw I'm not a sicko lol, I copy and paste the awards from old reports before filling in new info into them to make my job easier.

Had a dirty tricker sent after my team sadly.

He met a sticky end.

I have a 21 10 with my Classic League side (A 17 5 that went up every year and had a double jump too). It says he's worth 30 mill. It's a bit scary having all that tied up in one player, but then he is amazing so I keep him for now.

Just seen this player on my Xpert teams transfer market...

103mil! :o :o

Wait a sec... 17th December? It's only the 16th at the moment? Even on European time at the time of posting it was the 16th lol.

Will do the other two double reports this weekend then this report on Monday.

Oh man a victory but this is getting really tight. My form is becoming an issue now my players seem to be losing it big time eating all their christmas chocolates

Yeah my form is quite poor at the moment too unfortunately. My overall form isn't too great either although everyone is 10+....

It should have been a win for me >_> Would have won 2-1 if the goal hadn't been annulled. Lucky to draw at 93 minutes though. And the judge, five yellow for me and three yellow and a red for Twozzok..

Like I said in my press: Haden is my bogey team, really. It's like his gaff is Old Trafford to Aston Villa circa before last Saturday ()

I've only beaten Haden twice (three times if you count our encounter in the MSE League, just before Haden buggered off from it, that is.) in X11 history. So it's one fixture I'm never confident about.

Ah well.

Got a 2-2 draw away from home against 2nd place so not too bad today, but considering my other results recently i really could have done with the 3 points. Thats two places dropped, and i'm now only three points above relegation. If i can get some points out of my next couple of games, and the results around me are nice then i will be much happier next week. If i goes the other way though...

I've been plagued by bad form recently, but i used the time to shoe in my fringe players. I've pretty much got everyone their experience now, so hopehully i can regain some ground as we head into "squeaky bum" time

The next Double!

DuDs Baggies 0-1 Silverdale Hotpot

DuDs Baggies suffered a blow in the first of the double matches as they fell to an away lost against Silverdale Hotpot. Both teams played 4-4-2 and things started well for the Baggies in the first half as they created 3 chances to none. However Silverdale's defense and goalie were on top form and kept chance after chance out. Just as the half restarted Caskey who is a bit of a free kick specialist looped a beautiful shot into the right hand corner of the Baggies goal. The game opened up some more in the 2nd half but the Baggies just couldn't make an impact. Silverdale had one more chance but were happy to hold back. These two teams are fighting between the top tier and the relegation zone at the moment. The next game in the double will be very interesting.

Silverdale Hotpot 2-0 DuDs Baggies

Silverdale completed the double over the Baggies to move up the league as they won an impressive game against a disappointing Baggies. Silverdale played 3-5-2 and made more chances than the Baggies. Caskey struck again agains the Baggies as he headed in an early goal to give Silverdale some momentum. Baggies made some chances but Silverdales defense even with 3 people in it was better than Baggies 4 man defense. This defense also gave away a penalty that Hope converted for his first goal of the season. Baggies looked underpowered and made no more chances, Silverdale had a couple of players taken off through injuries but held out for the win. This has been a huge boost to Silverdales season and a big blow to Baggies as they failed to really threaten Silverdales counter attacking approach.

AFC Rez Rabies 2-0 Emo Blades

Rabies won a hard hitting match against the Blades as both teams suffered injuries. Stigsson the Blades defender was badly injured and replaced by Kruzen the Blades back up goalie! As you could imagine this weakened the Blades defense badly. Rabies were awarded a penalty soon after which they converted to make it 1-0. Carmont a Rabies defender was also badly injured but luckily Rabies had a defender ready to replace him. Zaca limped off in the 2nd half putting an end to Blades chances of a fightback which looked slim already as Soder performed incredibly in defense for Rabies. Rabies playing 4-3-3 looked threatening every time they came forward and made it 2-0 in the 4th minute of stoppage time as Gladh slammed it in assisted by Soder.

Emo Blades 1-1 AFC Rez Rabies

The Blades salvaged something from the double clash of two former top league teams as they held Rabies to a 1-1 draw. Blades star Zeca again was injured this time more seriously after 19 minutes. Rabies played 3-4-3 and scored just before half time when Winblad headed the ball in the back of the net. However new signing Agirre nodded in his first goal for the club a minute before the whistle was blown for half time. Blades had more chances in the 2nd half but without Zeca failed to put any past a weakened Rabies defense. It ended 1-1 which suited Rabies far more than the Blades. Rabies seem a team transformed with an attacking style of play replacing their old defensive mentality and are almost certainties for promotion unless something goes badly wrong soon. Blades will be unhappy with 1 point from this double and are looking like they could be in for a struggle to stay in the league.

Mcoys Sons 3-3 Cubic County

This double had the potential to bury one side and resurrect another as both of these sides have had an awful start to the season. The first game was an incredible one Sons decided to play 3-5-2 and try and dominate possession. This strategy seemed to work firstly as Jbil broke away from Countys defense and whacked in the 1st goal. However the Sons 3 men at the back were woefully exposed as County went on the attack after the restart. Norcott headed in twice against the poor Sons back 3, to add to this Maupas who played very well, lifted in a free kick that Waller touched home. The Sons did not panic as Heckinbottom swung in a beauty of a corner for Harris to head home 3 minutes after the 3rd County goal. The County defense looked very unsure of itself as Sons pushed forward with chance after chance. It seemed County were going to steal a famous victory until with a minute to go Heckinbottom lobbed the County defense with a through ball that young star Gaye attached himself onto. The home crowd held their breath but Gaye did not disappoint and took it past the goalie to make it 3-3. Sons had more chances but left themselves vulnerable to a vicious County attack after the half with only 3 defenders. On balance the result was both a thrilling and fair one.

Cubic County 2-2 Mcoys Sons

The rematch between these two teams was another incredible encounter although again the drama was in the 2nd half. County defender Hewitt suffered a nasty injury in the 1st half, however apart from this there were few chances and not much drama to speak about. Sons played 4-4-2 this time around maybe more aware of their defensive problems in the last game. County however were on the attack with a 4-3-3 formation. This seemed to give the Sons more chances and they made the most of this situation scoring 2 early in the 2nd half. Harris shooting from close range for the first and Jbil curling in a free kick for the 2nd. Heckinbottom helped control midfield for the Sons with a great performance but soon County were on the fightback. Gould teased it past the Sons defense and beat the goalie 1 on 1 for his 1st goal of the season. However the Sons midfield was a force to be reckoned with and County chances were very slim. 3 minutes into injury time a desperate cross found the head of a diving Ashby who headed home the 45th goal of his long County career to rapturous cheers. In the end then the double was a thrilling 5-5 combined draw, this may have in some ways condemned both sides to relegation instead of just one but we will see. What is true is that the matches were a great spectacle for the neutral.

Noodle Esporte Clube 2-1 Battlestar Odwinica

Noodle earned an important victory over Odwinica in the first of their double. Both teams played 4-4-2 and seemed each others equals in a tense first half which saw few chances. As the 2nd half began Noodle scored a quick double blow that gave them a huge advantage. Firstly Zakay headed in his 2nd goal of the season after being subbed on. Then moments later Barros hit in a close range shot to make it 2-0 on 50 minutes. Chances flowed for both teams but each sides attack seemed less impressive than their defense and more goals seemed unlikely. However creative force Collin teed up Gullian on the edge of the box who thumped home a beauty of a shot to make it 2-1. Regardless Noodle held out and made sure they got themselves a much needed victory over high flying Odwinica.

Battlestar Odwinica 1-1 Noodle Esporte Clube

Odwinica failed to beat Noodle who were good value for their draw as yet again both clubs played 4-4-2 and were pretty much each others equals. Vicente headed Noodle ahead in the 1st half, this was a blow to Odwinica who from this moment forward were chasing Noodle. Odwinica had to wait till just after the 2nd half before they created a response. Collin yet again created a goal this time for Tate who curled in a wonderful long range shot. Both midfield's closed each other down from this point and chances were a commodity that no one seemed to have. Odwinicas bad run carries on as Noodle really came out of this double the best. Both these teams were very closely matched but it was Noodle who came out on top.

Analysis Week 1

Most Important Result: DuDs Baggies 0-1 Silverdale Hotpot, Silverdale start the double week off with a great away victory over their rivals the Baggies.

Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, played with supreme style was a joy to watch, sadly their defense did not match their attack.

Player of the Day: Jez Heckinbottom, Mcoys Sons, inspired his team to gain a draw when they were at their lowest ebb.

Analysis Week 2

Most Important Result: Cubic County 2-2 Mcoys Sons, could this be the result were both teams fail to break away and doom themselves to relegation? We will see.

Turned on the Style Award: Cubic County, yet again great attacking play but are in the relegation zone because they can't match this up front.

Player of the Day: Virgil Caskey, Silverdale Hotpot, scored in both games and helped in the 2nd one via a great opening header.
