Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I'm tempted to join in on the next round of this. Is that, per chance, possible?
Rummy Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Why yes, joinings are possible at any time, even during a running game(tho you go to the end in that event). I'll leave it a day or two to hope we get another one or two stragglers(go recruit!) then I'll do the list and start the games!
Paj! Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I'll play! Let me rereadthe rules, as I'm unsure who says what and when etc, but some of these are stunning.
MoogleViper Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I'll play! Let me rereadthe rules, as I'm unsure who says what and when etc, but some of these are stunning. You'll get a pm with a picture and a caption. You caption the picture and illustrate the caption and then send it on to the next player (and cc it to Rummy).
Paj! Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 So...X sends me a picture of a dog attacking a man, with the caption "Angry dogs shouldn't attack people" (for example), and then do I work off that caption? Why do I see the picture before? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
MoogleViper Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 So...X sends me a picture of a dog attacking a man, with the caption "Angry dogs shouldn't attack people" (for example), and then do I work off that caption? Why do I see the picture before? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? No it's two separate games. X sends you a picture of a dog attacking a man. You caption this picture. X also sends you the caption "Zombies throw capsites at the Beatles in order to get to sleep." You then draw a picture for this caption. For example jay sent me this; etc. Game 1 Game B The zombies resorted to throwing capsites at the beatles to get a good night's creep. So I sent Spambot this; Game A Don't make cans angry, you wouldn't like them when they're angry. Game 2
Paj! Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I semi-understand. I'll deal when the time comes.
Jimbob Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I semi-understand. I'll deal when the time comes. It's easy to understand once the game gets underway. Took me a game to fully understand it
Rummy Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) It's basically two games running concordantly, completely unrelated to each other, the point of which is that you get a chance to both caption and picture, hence you'll have one game which has a picture, and one that has a caption. Sometimes it looks like there's overlap, but there isn't sposed to be(I did worry that might happen). I'll get the new game up today or tomorrow, the order will be... 1. ReZourceman 2. Paj 3. Marcamillian 4. Dannyboy 5. Nintendohnut 6. Diageo 7. Cube 8. SPAMBOT4000 9. MoogleViper 10. jayseven 11. Jimbob 12. Dyson If anybody has decided they don't want to play anymore, post in the thread, if you get a PM as part of the game anyway, kindly forward it on to the next person or back to me and I'll forward it along. Faster than I thought, threw together a picture of some nature, so the game is now rolling! I'll give people 24-48 hours to respond, if there's no answer I'll pass it along to the next person in the chain, cos we're getting more people and we can't all wait forever for the games to finish(or you can, if you want, it's upto you, not me!). Btw Dannyboy and Paj, when you send your PM on, just post here, it lets everyone who's playing see that the game is moving along For anyone who cares, I've edited all the past games into the first post, and made them look a little prettier by centering them. SPAMBOT4000 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Yay love this game! Just thought I'd ask as well, does anyone mind that my past couple of entries have been sorta doodles with bad photoshooping? It's usually way easier that way for me but I'll attempt to knock something up without the photos if needs be.
jayseven Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 It's been alright, though I don't understand why you can't get better focus on the pics with a bit of messing around with the camera functions?
SPAMBOT4000 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Oh, just used google image search to cut up bits and pieces. Far too lazy to take actual photos.
Rummy Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Personally I prefer handrawn/mspaint/sometinartyity rather than the shops but I find them a slightly fresh break to things, so it' sort of cool a long as it doesn't catch on to everyone doing it, but then I also don't know what your drawings are like to judge by?
SPAMBOT4000 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 but then I also don't know what your drawings are like to judge by? Haha yeah that was the reason as they're usually terrible. I'll give it a go this round. Prob be easier if I do what others did and do it on paper and take a photo.
MoogleViper Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I was going to photoshop Dan's head into my picture as one of the Beatles but alas, I no longer have photoshop.
Jimbob Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I have no clue how to use Photoshop/GIMP so Paint all the way for me. I find it a creative tool, and also it is nice to see how people's imaginations work as well.
Rummy Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Things seem to be moving a bit slow, is it still waiting with Marcamillian?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 It would seem so, as I haven't received anything yet.
Marcamillian Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Sorry. I'm on 3 and the reception is terrible. A carrier pidgeon is on its way to Denmark as we speak. Godspeed little pidgeon.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Message for Nintendohnut: .--. .- -.-. -.- .- --. . ... . -. -
Nintendohnut Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Sorry I'm so busy, I'm just going to send this straight on to the next person Therefore: Diego - London calling!
