Paj! Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 New Round! I want more voters people. It can't be that hard to take time out to vote in this... PJ Harvey - We Float Postal Service - Such Great Heights Round 4 Match 1: Rage Against The Machine vs. The Kinks Match 2: Tori Amos vs. Portishead Match 3: Foo Fighters vs. Radiohead VOTE YOU SCURVY FUCKERS
Paj! Posted September 10, 2009 Author Posted September 10, 2009 I vote We Float too. The whole album is one of those albums that has such a tangible. breathable atmosphere, and this track is the standout "feel-good" one. Brilliant. Postal Service were good too, but considering I hear about the jizzings over that song so much, it was very underwhelming.
chairdriver Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 We Float One of favourite PJ Harvey songs. I find Such Great Heights really meh. I much prefer Iron & Wine's cover of it.
Twozzok Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Postal Service I just didn't really like We Float.
Mr_Odwin Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I really like PJ Harvey and especially like Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea but We Float is one of the worst tracks on there. At the start of MUSIC WARZ! I'd not heard anything by postal service and it made me head to Spotify and give them a whirl. I now really like them so my vote goes to Postal Service - Such Great Heights.
S.C.G Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 *does a Dyson* Fuck you guys j/k lolz :P luvuallrly <3
Ashley Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I also go for Postal Service, such an enjoyable tune Plus I love the line "everything looks perfect from far away".
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm going to have to say Postal Service, too. The PJ Harvey song just didn't do much for me.
Paj! Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Gonna say Postal Service wins this. Poor PJ. She did well.
Coolness Bears Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Doesn't matter now but I listened to both songs and forgot to vote. Would've been PJ Harvey.
