Yeah, just playing the game at the moment, just downloaded like 30 mins ago.

I love games that just get right into it, this game is no exception, the second mission

Has, you trying to escape with Tony and you have a pretty awesome weapon to use while at it, I think there were like 15 guys you had to kill before getting out...it's very full on indeed right from the start, something I wish they did with GTA IV

Ended up buying this today. Wasn't going to, but the game I bought on eBay hasn't even been dispatched by the guy yet, and I had enough points on my account already anyway. Downloading now while I'm at the gym, and then shall return to some GTA goodness.

I never bought GTAIV and wondered if it was worth getting this, seeing as the packs got a positive reception from the people that thought the main game removed a lot of fun (that could be found in Saints Row 2) required for the sandbox genre to work.

When it falls in price I may have to dip in. Never been that interested in it but now they've downsized the content and seemingly upped the quality, well, it could appeal to me.

Also, I'm doubtfull hoping the package has a platinum trophy. Or is it just a couple of silvers/bronzes?

There are two versions of this out. You can buy the main game and buy the DLC separatly via X-Box Live. Or buy the DLC on disk.

Its a pretty good game, i found that there was no purpose as such for all the money you acquire except for purchasing weapons or paying a Taxi fare or paying a hooker for service.

The Lost and Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony are 360 exclusives.

Oh I thought the disc release was also for the PS3, my bad.

I swear I read somewhere that the exclusivity was timed. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to miss out.

Saw the Liberty Stories thing at work today - we're selling it for like £24.99 and i can get 10% off... worth it?

YES!!! (Unless you already have Lost and Damned)

I am really enjoying Ballad of gay tony, I enjoyed Lost and Damned very much as well, put together they are much better then the main GTAIV. And it makes me excited to see what Rockstar do next.

The last mission is awesome! Rockstar are probably the first company to really do episodic DLC type gaming justice. These shorter, more focused snippets of GTA action have really reinvigorated the series for me after the fairly bland GTAIV. The crossovers have been so much fun to spot. Love seeing Roman and Brucie hanging out at the clubs for example, really made the whole city feel that much more alive and real.

This is seriously awesome. Fuck the DLC though, you miss out on the Vice City radio, and buying the disk saves you space on your HDD.

Yes, your old TLAD save games all work with the disk.
