Looks insanely fast, but in a recent interview the development team said it's running smoothly, but not at 60fps.

I think they said that they were aiming for 60, but it wasn't guaranteed. So it could be...

Either way, as long as it's fast, fun and feels smooth, I don't really care :) (it's not really the kind of game that absolutely 100% needs it like a fighting game, or a precision 2D platformer like Mario or DKCR)

Downloaded Bike Rider DX last weekend, as it's been permanently reduced to £1.99. It's a fun jump 'n run game, that I've spent more time with than I expected. Could of done with online leaderboards for Endless mode, but it's still enjoyable to see how far you can go. Recommended!

Would be nice to see Rhythm Theif get an eShop release though...

Your wish has been granted. It's expensive though, haven't checked how much the retail version goes for lately though.

Nintendo eShop (3DS)

Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure (SEGA) - €44.99/£39.99

You'll need your sharpest sleuthing skills and some stellar dance moves as rhythm games get a twist of mystery in this all-action, toe-tapping title, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS. Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure combines a gripping story and a groovy beat as you take control of sharp-suited thief, Raphael, famous for stealing paintings only to return them several days later. You're on the case as you try to solve the mystery of his father's disappearance, all the while deftly dodging the police, sidestepping museum guards - and running into the Emperor Napoleon!

Game Festival 1 (Bigben Interactive) - €24.99/£19.99

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye! Gather round and join in the fun of the fair! Amusements for one and all, dart and balloon games, games of skill, and even the famous hook-a-duck! On your own or with your friends, the only thing missing is candyfloss!

Witch & Hero Demo (CIRCLE Ent.) - Free

Witch & Hero is an 8-bit style action game. You play as a hero accompanied by a witch taking on the evil Medusa, whom has destroyed many villages and towns with the monsters that stand before her. Medusa turned the witch into stone, so she is no longer able to move. So it's up to the hero to defeat the monsters and collect their blood in order to recover the witch for a limited duration. The witch's destructive magic easily destroys monsters, but you will have to rely on the hero's will power primarily. He is able to try and try again, but the witch cannot, thus the hero must protect her.

Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D (Teyon) - €3.99/£3.59 (Offer ends October 17, normally €4.99/£4.49)

Sweet! VERY pricey though :o

Still it's good to see an uncommon game like this hit the eShop :) Hopefully the same will now happen with Tales of The Abyss (Which has become pretty rare and hard to find...)

It seems to be £30 - £35 from online retailers. Not sure if Sainsburys are still selling it for ~£20. Shame it got mixed opinions, not sure I'd pay that much or it.

Amazon says it's getting more stock of Tales of the Abyss 5th October so it might be getting another print. A digital version would be nice indeed.

Good news Picross fans! We're getting Picross e3 14th November!

The US gets it today which I would be outraged about, but it took them ages to get Picross e1 so I'll let them off.

For now.

Still hoping for Club Nintendo Picross. Maybe they should do a promo and give it out to everyone who bought all 3.

Does anyone know if eShop codes are region locked within Europe? I saw that game.co.uk was selling them, but I don't know if I will be able to redeem the code if it isn't a UK 3DS. Specifically for the Pokémon X digital pre-order thing they have going.

I'm 99% sure that any EU code will work on any EU region 3DS (Gamesrocket sell 3DS codes in the UK and they're based in Germany). US and JPN codes obviously wont work, but all EU codes should be the same.

Woohoo! Sayonara Umihara Kawase is getting localised as an eShop download!!! (Yumi's Odd Odyseey is its English title)

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=705709

This'll be the first time that a Kawase game is ever getting released outside of Japan! :bouncy:

(For those wondering, an EU version hasn't been announced yet; but Agatsuma Entertainment did respond to an email of mine that I sent a few months back, saying that a EU release is planned but they weren't ready to announce it publically yet - so we'll almost certainly get it too :D )

For those who are unfamiliar with the series (which is probably most people here and everywhere), there's a great article on Hardcore Gaming 101 that goes over the series, but in short; it's a really great and unique series of sidescrolling platform games (that started on the SNES in 1994) which stars a little girl who gets through levels by using a rope as a grappling hook to swing around (think Super Metroid's grappling hook, or Bionic Commando minus the gun but with super realistic "elastic band" physics!).

It's this game below that was shown in a Japanese Nintendo Direct earlier on this year...

This guy in the video below also did a good overview of the original SNES game, to give you an idea of what it's like (and why you should be excited for this game! :D )

Isn't £20 quite expensive or is it insanely featured?!

It's VERY fully featured! Definately a professional grade tool (and not designed for the inexperienced!) Its predecessors were retail titles on DS and DSi (the latter being one of the few DSi Enhanced games released at retail).
