Rummy Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I couldn't scroll down for ages, I couldn't actually think of any artists I'd actually seen!. Like, I've seen Monét, that's always a painting, and I thought of Van Gogh, but that's always a painting too! My final answer came to rest on...Rolf Harris, lol. I'm amazed how many artists I've not actually seen/can remember. I think I saw a picture of Warhol once, but couldn't for the life of me remember what he looks like.
Molly Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Joan Miró. Not my favourite artist, but I somehow studied him for aaaages at school so he's the first to come to mind.
chairdriver Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I didn't really understand what you were asking... But I thought of Rolf Harris.
Paj! Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I'll spoiler it... Andy Warhol Not even a painter. ---- I instantly got an image of some rennaisance-esque guy, but it was just that an image. Technically the first name that came to me was Picasso.
jayseven Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Andy Warhol was an American painter (amongst other things)
Ten10 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I thought Monét but then I had to double check he was a painter and not a composer. But hey it probably comes from the horrors of doing pointillism all those years ago at school.
Cube Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I could only think of Bob Ross and The Joy of Games That Never Get Released.
Paj! Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Andy Warhol was an American painter (amongst other things) Oh, I suppose. I just always associate him with the silkscreen prints/films that he switched to from painting.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Yup, I thought of Da Vinci, too. More precisely this self-portrait.
